Purchased **** ************* January 26, 2022. Upon receiving, the Jeep had extensive hidden damage (e.g., rusted body, damaged frame, and a multitude of mechanical issues). I tried resolving issue with owner (**************), who refunded the freight cost of $500 and an additional $776. 30 for initially identified deficiencies with Jeep. This total is grossly insufficient based on the eventual repairs made. I attempted to solve the issue with the ************** Attorney but to no avail. I have spent $34,262 in repairs including a complete replacement of the body, fenders, and many electrical and mechanical scopes. I am very careful and always perform research before making any substantial purchase. However, purchasing a vehicle on-line, a person trusts that a dealership should have integrity. The photographs of this vehicle (on ****** the advertisement headline 1-Owner Perfect Carfax, and most importantly the statement on the dealership website Frankfort Auto Haus is a family-owned dealership since ****. I personally ************* every vehicle I sell, one of the reasons I have been in business over 40 years and have ****s of happy customers., clearly show that **************** is not an honest businessman and should be held accountable

    * The date of the money/purchase transaction is 09/20/2023 * Date we received the vehicle 09/26/2023 * The purchase price is $5562.00 * The business was supposed to sell me a fully functioning working vehicle.* The dispute is that Frankfort Auto Haus sold me a vehicle with engine failure. Within three days of having the vehicle, it broke down and needed $545.18 in repairs. After paying and repairing those items, the car broke down again two days later, and this time, after additional inspections and two different car repair shop quotes, we were told the engine needed replacement. This repair is quoted as $7530.73 - we have paper documents for all of these items * The business would not respond to my attempts at a resolution until I filed a formal complaint with the State of ********. As of today, 11/29/23, I received a phone call where they have offered to pay $2500.00 for the repair costs. This is unacceptable, and I want what I paid for a working car.* There is no account # that I know of, the Vehicle Vin # *****************.* Online, there are many, many other people who have reported the same or similar behaviors from this business. Consumers need to be made aware and protected. This should never ever happen to anyone. We paid good money for the car, and we deserve a good working car for our money. There must be some accountability and onus put onto the Business when they do not provide the service and products they are supposed to.

We refunded the customer the full amount and picked the car
