I ordered a refurbished Shark air purifier from them on Amazon on May 6, 2024. I received the product on May 9, 2024. I took it out of the packaging and plugged it in to make sure it worked and it did not. I started a return and sent it back. They refunded me the taxes and then charged me with a $179.99 restocking fee. When I contacted them they stated that I sent back a different product which is not true. I sent them the broken item they sent me. They still refuse to refund me my money. I do not recommend anyone to ever buy from this company because they send you broken items and then when you send it back they refuse to give you your money back.Business response

received item 5.7.2024, item was dirty, missing parts, I called the company to request a refund. they said when you return the item we will issue a refund. when I received the refund it was 8.80 which is the tax I paid on the item. The restocking fee was ****** the cost of the item itself. I contacted the company spoke with 2 people and received and email from ******* and he said he could not refund the item because the serial numbers we different. This is impossible. He is lying. I am rejecting this response because: If I had a steamer already, why would I purchase another steamer and then return it. If the serial number from the original item is different from the item I sent back, have the company prove it by showing evidence of the different serial numbers.

I purchased a shark cordless vacum from Good as New Electronics. It arrived and was used two times for 10 minutes and the battery lost its charge and the head jammed. Both times. I charged it for over 24 hours and still no charge. I tried it again and little charge, head is still jammed. Approximately one month after the purchase, my mother dies and I left my home for 5 months. The vacuum was not used. Last week I tried it again and it still did not work- I wrote a product review said what was wrong and did not even get a comment from the seller. They sold me a piece of junk- for over ******. Amazon will not accept the return because the woincdow closed. I tried to contact Good as New Electronics, but no one answers the phone or my emails. I believe this c company is Shamming its customers. I will write a very strong product review against this company on Amazon and any where else I can find if this product is not accepted as a return. Please accept this product as a return and refund my money.Business response

We are unable to locate the customer's order.
However, the vacuums are factory refurbished and come with a 90 day factory warranty, as explicitly advertised.
The item would be ineligible for return after 5 months.

I am rejecting this response because: This third party company should bare the responsibility of contacting Amazon and forwarding them the screen image copy of the payment they say they created for me me. All i know is I'M out of $344.00 largely in part to the poor quality refund service of Good AS NEW ELECTRONICS.

So this company Good as New Electronics is a COMPLETE sham, I made the MISTAKE OF ordering a used excellent condition air fryer, and what a HUGE error on my part! First off the unit came to me missing 2 different racks and right off the bat it put a bad taste in my mouth, so I had found another air fryer that was much better that actually came with ALL the parts, imagine that, so I returned it and then I get an email from them/Amazon stating that they were deducting $44.98 from my refund because I sent it back with missing parts, that's a good laugh! I yeah and on top of that they wanted to charge me S/H to send back when I didn't even pay S/H when it was sent to me!Business response

The item the customer ordered did not come with the parts they are claiming were missing and the item.
Then the customer returned the item with a misrepresented return reason and in customer damaged condition so we issued the customer a refund less a 50% restocking fee per Amazon policy.
The refund already processed is correct and should be considered final.

I purchased a tv on March 12 2024. I received the tv on March 16. Upon opening it I noticed the top right corner was damaged. So I requested to return the item. The seller was all fine with it just telling me I had to wait for them to receive the tv back. I asked for a refund because I didnt want to wait. March 22 I get a notice that ****** was being refunded . I paid ******. Upon asking why I was notified by the seller that I was charged for damage .Business response

The Shark Hyper Air was received as a gift and was listed under the Amazon full returns policy. It was purchased through Amazon and the return was made according to the guidelines and within the timeline. Good As New confirmed reciept of the returned product and returned ONLY the sales tax amount of $10.72 to the orginal purchaser. This a complete scam and should be considered theft!Business response

I am rejecting this response because:Company did not acknowledge that was the case when they confirmed the return. The item was returned (according to full return guarantee Amazon guidelines) because 2 of the same items were recieved as a gift...both purchased for the SAME AMOUNT. Purchase was made from the same one item on an Amazon wish list. Therefore, why would it matter if that is the case anyway???????
Requesting company ship back the item "that was returned as a completely different item". I live in ***** and it unreasonable to request it can be picked up. Company has made enough money from the orignal gifter to justify shipping back if they will not return money.
Once again, it is completely irresponsible and should be illegal to charge a re-stocking fee of the entire original purchase amount. This company will sell that product to someone else and double their profit. Poor business practices and unethical.

I ordered an item through Amazon from this seller. It was a refurbished vacuum that broke within 30 seconds of the first use. When I returned the item, the seller claimed that I send a completely different model and serial numbered item, which is entirely impossible. This is a clearly fraudulent, but of course I did not record any of this information to prove anything. It also seems like this is a trend, according to the previous complaints. Customer returned the item in a box we did not send, with the factory refurbished serial number no longer on the item if it was even the item we sent, and the serial number is redacted so we can unable to verify anything.Because the factory refurbished serial information was missing and it was not returned in our box, we are not able to verify this item, and the customer is not due any refund. On 2/8/23, I bought the Shark S7001 Mop Scrub from this seller through Amazon. On 2/22/23, I returned this item without opening the box. The reason was my cousin already ordered one for me as a gift and it wasnt arrived when I made the return. The seller received the returned item, but only refund $13 tax and 1 cent for delivery. They said we returned the incorrect item. This was a LIE so they could steal my money. I contacted Amazon so many times, and each time they said they will contact seller. Looks like things are going in a circle, and Im the one who got robbed.Business response
