    ***** came to our self-managed Avondale condos and did a lot of exterior work with a two year warranty. The paint degraded fairly quickly across everything they'd painted, chipping and showing rust across fencing and cat walks. We had no choice but for all of the owners to contact them to honor the warranty and repaint the degraded areas. After some initial apologies and delays, they eventually claimed - get ready for it - that the wrong paint was used when the building were first built twenty plus years ago and they hadn't known. It's barely worth debating, but they begin the job by grinding off the first layer of paint so it shouldn't matter what paint was first used. More importantly, figuring out how to competently prime and paint our aging paint walk was the reason we went with their bid, and our assumption that they were honorable is why we thought we were protected with a warranty. Clearly they were trying to get out of being accountable to a failed job, which is pretty disgraceful.
