I hired this company to repair my roof in August 2024 and signed a contract with them for repairs. The work was completed by the end of September 2024 and I was under the impression that they were paid in full by my insurance. I was never notified in any manner that there was a balance left to pay, in fact I was verbally told by ***** that everything was paid in full yet I am now receiving calls from the business stating that I owe $2,400 and that they will be placing a lien on my home and removing my roof if I do not pay them. I have requested a breakdown of the charges to show why I owe this amount and they are refusing to provide me with any details and just continue to demand I pay this amount. I would also like to mention I had an agreement with the company that I would not have to pay my deductible if I kept a sign in my yard advertising their company and they even left the sign up longer than we agreed.

I have attached 5 documents above. The front and back of our signed contract, a signed change order form, our invoice to the homeowner and the insurance break down.

On 8/6/2024 one of sales **** made contact with Ms. ****** We helped her file a claim on her property due to wind and hail damage being discovered.

On 8/19/2024 we met with the homeowners insurance adjuster and were able to get them fully approved for a new roof, new gutters, detach and reset their gutter guards, and also some interior damage that they had at the property.

On 8/20/2024 we signed our contract with the homeowner, with the agreement to replace the roof per the insurance estimate (scope of work and price)  House Roof Total = $7824.89 (this can be found on page 2 of the break down under the *** or REPLACEMENT COST VAULE column)

The homeowner then advised they wanted the gutters to be replaced per the insurance break down but preferred the gutter guards to be detached and reset and then painted. Homeowner has premium gutter guards that the insurance did not pay to replace.

Per insurance break down : HOUSE ROOF TOTAL : $7,824.89     GUTTER REPLACEMENT TOTAL : ******* PER CHANGE ORDER TO DETACH AND RESET AND PAINT GUTTER GUARDS : $2000

The total for everything is $11,627.35

We then as promised, extended the homeowner an advertising credit for having our signs in their yard. (it is illegal to waive pay or rebate their deductible and the sales **** had this conversation multiple times. no waiver of deductible is ever promised as this is against company policy. we did however honor our advertising credit which is on the invoice which is also attached in the documents.

We have explained the charges and dollar amounts multiple times to the homeowner, and they just flat out refuse to pay the balance due. We have collected 2 payments  $6,639.11 on 9/18/2024 and $ 2000 on 10/8/2024. Since we were not making any progress with the homeowner and they refused to pay the remaining balance, we had no other option but to turn it over to our attorney for collection.

Please let me know if there is any further explanation needed on this. There were funds allocated for the interior work at their property which since we did not do the work, obviously we did not invoice for it. our goal is always to wrap up projects in a timely manner and only do the work the homeowners hire us to do,. we do however expect to be paid for work that is performed.

    thank you

I had my gutters and roofs done recently and was apparently outsourced for the gutters but the roof H3337**30333133333036H did themselves. First they did my gutters and they look really good. My roof was being re examined about 5 times before I got the proper amount. When they put the roof on they didn&#**;t properly block things off and caused damage to my yard including the pipe that is now broken and deck in my back yard. In the front it has a bunch of debris including nails and makes it kind of dangerous. I sent them to H3337**30333133333036H to tell them what&#**;s going on and they were arguing with me on who is responsible. I had many backs and forth on this situation and the person I had been speaking with me continued to blow me off for two and a half months. With the exception of one person, I have had multiple issues with aggressive behavior. I called them at one point and got someone entirely different and they seemed more than willing to help. The belligerent fellow did eventually come out, didn&#**;t ring my door ****, went to go fix the pipe, and I went to talk to him to see how things were going. He put glue on it, while it was still wet outside. He told me to never call the business again as he was leaving. This took from May till December to even try to fix it, but he continued to ignore and even when he did show up he said that he left something in his van multiple times and not in his truck causing him to drag this out further. ****** has been the most respectful out of them all. The company has never given me a receipt, and they claim they pay me back 300 dollars, but they never have in any way shape or form, but that&#**;s not even an issue to begin with,

AL-CO Seamless Gutters was hired to do gutter work but we are happy to come out to look at the issue with the broken pipe.

I have reviewed the business' response and am rejecting it because: I called the business and **** stated he did not know what I was talking about, and advised it was probably someone else who responded, he would forward my message and he hung up on me.

    Sincerely,

The gutter company that the homeowner contracted the job with re-visited the site and still refused to repair the broken pvc pipe.

As an act of good faith for the homeowner we sent back one of our crew members who resolved all issues at the property . We fixed the homeowners pvc pipe as well as some issues he pointed out on the gutter work.

**** informed us he would make a note on the bbb complaint that we came out and addressed everything at his property. We also purchased our own gutter machine so we never have to mingle projects with other companies who dont hold and share the same standard as we do, hopefully preventing issues like this in the future.

Please feel free to reach out to the customer **** ***** to confirm he is happy and we took care of all the issues at the property. t

    thank you
