      I am writing to express my concerns regarding the charges I incurred during my visit to Gateway Regional Medical Center, ***********, ******** in February 2024. I visited the center seeking treatment for a UTI and was seen by a nurse practitioner. Following the consultation, a urine culture was conducted.Recently,(April ***** I received a bill indicating that I owe a balance of $885.88. The total bill, after my insurance was charged, amounted to over $1700. I find this charge for an office visit and treatment for a UTI to be quite alarming and excessively high. It appears that the company is taking advantage of patients with these outrageous ********** no time did anyone at this facility indicate what the cost of the treatment would be.I would appreciate if someone could provide clarity on the billing process and the rationale behind such high costs for seemingly routine treatment. It would be helpful to understand if there are options to review or possibly reduce the charges.

      I have tried to request my medical records for year's and I am not allowed to receive it. I also have tried contacting the hospital via telephone regarding billing and was told that payment paid to a debt collector wasn't going towards my bill.

      Pay $35 cash for a school physical for our son. Then we got a bill in the mail says we owe $35. Call company gateway regional Medical Center and finally after being interrogated by them. In about 20 minutes later he said they’re going to take my balance to zero. A lot of people were pay. For me it was a headache a lot of time spent and frustrations these people are bad.
