  Zielinski Construction did a large remodel on my current residence. 2,700sq ft of new hardwood floors, new kitchen, and new bathroom. After 6 months a bad leak developed from the master bathroom through the floor and into the kitchen. The work was warrantied and **** the owner tried to fix it twice with no success. From the possible solution he gave us, it was apparent **** had no clue what the issue was or how to repair it. After getting 2 additional opinions from outside contractors it was determined that the base was poured incorrectly and the leak was originating from a custom poured shower base. The entire shower needed to be demoed out and reinstalled. **** initially agreed to pay for just the cost of the the demo and new shower base and asked for time to come up with the funds. After 6 weeks of time he no longer responded to my phone calls or texts and has refused to pay up after he agreed to reimburse us the $3,000 to fix the issue. The entire bathroom had to be redone for $10,000 and I thought I was being more than fair in asking for only the money to repair the base.

  Home owners, were made aware in the beginning of the project, the tile used for the shower base had the potential to leak. They said "we'll take our chances we like the color".  6 months later I find out about there leak. I answer all calls or texts. I hired a plumber and find out it was the tile. He also had someone else look at the job. I told him I would install a new shower pan. He said he wants someone else to do do it. They told him it all needed to be redone. Which is hear say. And not the case.

  He wanted $3,000 for someone else doing the work,which would void the warranty. I told him I would do the work.  He also told me he already had someone do the work and still wanted the 3k. Once I found out he had them do the work. That voided my warranty. I offered to fix the problem, they chose to go with someone else's opinion. I cannot take responsibility for someone else's work. My insurance doesn't cover them if they get hurt or something else happens.
