We hired ***************** in March of 2023. We were told we needed to pay him a down payment of $2000 to be on his list to have our driveway done in the Summer of 2023. We paid him the $2000. Summer of 2023 came around and that is when the excuses began. (All documented via text because he does not answer the phone) Weeks turned into months. And finally on September 1st we demanded a refund or a start date and he agreed to come out and tear the driveway up and that he would be back in a few days to finish the job. He did so and said that we needed to pay another $2600 upon completion of tearing the driveway up and he would be back to lay the asphalt within a few days. He took our check, cashed it and did not return. We were in contact via text once again and we were given every excuse under the sun. FINALLY, in November of 2023 he messaged us saying he wants to lay the driveway. This was unacceptable because the temperature was too low at this point to lay the asphalt. Knowing this, he said ok see you next spring.February of 2024 we messaged him asking yet again when he would return to lay the asphalt, he said early May of 2024. We reached out in April and more excuses began of why he couldnt come out and finish the job we paid for. May came and went with more excuses. It is now June 2024 and he has stopped answering our text messages completely. He has taken $4600 of our money and all we have to show for it is a torn up driveway.
