  took 21 days to do roof and gutters, Would let him change a light bulb in my house . Told me he'd be there and never showed 5 times Never said sorry Do not let him work on you house.

  Long story short, spent $4200.00 to get my shed make over by Mark *********************** Money spent and approx. 6 1/2 mos later shed not complete and no response from ****.

  In winter we had a leak in our kitchen ceiling; we called Borders Construction, who had installed the roof originally. They looked at the roof and said that it was most likely an ice dam that caused the water to back up and the roof to leak. He said that our downspouts were inadequate for our roof (which seems legit since all our neighbors have larger capacity downspouts than ours.) He (Mark *********************** did say that there were a couple things they could do on the roof just in case it was something else causing the leak. We agreed to have them do the warrantied repair when the weather improved. We had them out in spring and signed a contract for the downspouts to be installed, and gave them a 50% deposit, with the understanding that the roof would be repaired at the same time. In the meantime, they would order the metal for the downspouts. After having other work done on the house, I contacted Mark ********************** and asked to set a date to have the downspouts installed and the roof repaired. Back and forth for two weeks, while he promised to come and do the work and not only didnt show up, but also didnt contact me about any delays/cancellations. In the meantime, we had another leak in the same place, so, being July, there was obviously no ice dam causing the leaks. Finally, I canceled the contract and demanded a refund of our deposit. Rather surprisingly, I got the refund right away. However, that means that the required roof repairs will now have to be done out of our pocket, instead of covered by warranty. Needless to say, I would not recommend this company to anyone. The roof was actually installed by the previous owners and, unfortunately, I failed to do my due diligence when we talked to them about the downspouts. I would not have contracted them to do *any* work if the roof hadnt been under warranty (which, I now know) is useless anyway.TL:DR **** deposit for new work, never showed, weaseled out of warranty repair

  Highly recommend!!!! **** from Borders was so great! He was very honest and genuine. He walked through each thing during our consultation, and gave honest recommendations as to what type of work *** or *** not be needed. Hes very trustworthy!
