I purchased a newly built home from Mora Builders on August 23, 2022. This home was described as being luxury on the brochures, etc. but it has been nothing but issues. Mora Builders committed to providing a quality high-end home. The nature of my dispute is I have not been provided a quality home. More Builders was pressed for time due to rising interest rates, inadequate contractors and supplies to finish not only my home, but 3 other homes at the same time. I think Mora Builders ********** ******************************** is a good guy, I have no personal problem with him. My issue is with whom he might have contracted to complete my home and the ability to follow-up on the contractors' work in making sure my home was of the quality state he has promised. Here are some of my issues: 1) From the date of moving in, my home floors started to squeak. I'm not just saying in one area of the home, but all areas. More Builders did come out and reinforce some of the areas by adding additional nails, but along with areas that were not reinforced, those areas are now back to the original squeaking, along with the stairs 2) Recessed lighting falling from the ceilings 3) Tub was put in slanted 4) Outside exhaust pipe not put on home and furnace not hooked up nor tested by contractor 5) No additional outlet for sump pump and contractor materials lodged under gear of sump pump 6) Master Bathroom/1st level bathroom vent flaps constantly blow open and create loud clinging noise during windy days. 7) Cracked wooden window ledges 8) Chain to motor unit on garage too tight/noisy and has created stress ****** of original wear and tear. 9) Multiple lines of bulging screws/nails on ceilings and walls throughout home 10) promised to plant 18 trees along ***************, to address privacy concerns before purchasing home as part of the ******************. All homeowners have stated that this would created a no-sale. due to traffic. Mora Builders has stopped responding to resolve remaining issues.
