Back on Oct 9, 2021 I was told by ***** that my engine needed to be rebuilt. I gave him $4000. He said he needed another $4000 to get started so I gave it to him on Nov 5th 2021. I texted him on Mar 23, 2022 asking for status. No answer. On March 25th, I asked him again and he said he is waiting on parts it should be a couple weeks. I waited a while to reach out to him because of the problem getting parts at the time. Texted a status check on Sept 14 2022. He said parts are coming in. I was super busy at work and lost track of the car status. On Sept 12 2023 I went in and saw *****. My car was put in storage and he had done nothing to the car at all. I asked for my $8000 and my car back. He wrote me a check and said I would get my car on Monday. No car and no answer from *****. I found the storage place that had my car (outside for most of the year). ***** had not paid the rent in over 6 months (on any of the cars he parked there). I had to pay $500 in back rent to get it out. Now I have his $8k check that has insufficient funds Since Sept 25th. I check every week and nothing. He takes deposits on cars and does not fix them. he did some smaller work on my car a couple times previous. Always leaving something out and told me he will complete it next time I come in. ***************** be a good mechanic (or not) but, he is deceitful. I was the last of five cars pulled out of storage for the same reason. They almost auctioned it off. He only has one mechanic and forty cars in his shop. I do not know what he does with his down payments but I know he does not buy parts for the car he is supposed to. He claims that he bought parts for my car but cannot provide any parts or receipts when asked for them. I am filing a claim with the Attorney General. People just need to be aware of his practices.

Brought my 2008 z06 into the shop to have the engine pulled, rebuilt, and reinstalled. Their estimate for the whole job was ****** to ****** dollars. I gave him an initial payment of $7,000 and later on another $2,000. I also provided them with $3,000 worth of brand new parts. This Job should have taken a few weeks. Maybe a month or 2 if he was busy. They have had my car for ********************************************************************************* their shop. After asking several times over 13 months for a picture of my engine, he has failed to provide me with one. He has been lying to me the whole time. First he said the engine was being rebuilt at a machine shop which was a lie. Then he said he was rebuilding it in his shop (but still couldn't provide a picture). My patience is over, I want my car back, I want my engine back, and I want my money back. The only reason I haven't come and picked up the engine w a trailer is because I have no idea where it is at. 13 months, $9000 cash, $3000 parts, a z06 , and a LOST LS7 engine. This guy has no reason to be running a business. I don't want him to touch my car or engine. I want my car and money back.

04 Jan 2021, I paid $2500.00, for work to be done on my car and only received part of the work. He has since been avoiding me and not finishing what i paid for. Texts, emails, phone calls, either left unanswered or just keeps kicking the can down the road. Telling me he'll work on it. Its been WAY too long and no more excuses. Not a way to do business. I am requesting a refund of money unspent for parts NEVER received. I don't know how to upload documents, but I do have a photo of the checks i gave him and the work to be done. Sorry i can't be of more help. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income, and this means a lot to me. I want my money!!
