    I had a tooth extracted which, in the past has always been covered 100% by my insurance through this provider. They wanted me to pay $200 up front, which I did. I had my panoramic x-rays sent over from my dentist. They were taken only a few weeks prior. ****************** said I needed new x-rays because he couldnt even see the tooth that was suppose to be extracted in the x-********* had sent over to him. When I received the bill I was expecting my $200 back. Instead I was told I owe $63.60. There was a $200 charge for an unspecified procedure which my insurance didnt cover because it wasnt coded correctly. When I asked his office to please re-submit bill and include the $200 for surgicel with the extraction so Cigna will then cover it, they said they cant do that. I told them that in the past doctor offices go out of their way to re-code so the patient can get reimbursement. After several calls by ***** and me to their office I was lied to, yelled at and hung up on. They would not let me talk to ****************** and they would not recode for surgicel so my insurance would reimburse me. I was also charged for another panoramic x-ray that my regular dentist told me was ridiculous and showed me the tooth on his x-ray that ****************** said wasnt visible. I have since seen many reviews about ****************** complaining about the billing procedure at his office including the consistent charge of $200 for surgicel. I have since learned that surgicel costs nowhere near $200. Also he had me take another x-ray which wasnt needed. It seems like there is some scam going on in that office. I would appreciate it if you could get his office to please bill the surgicel with the extraction so I can get paid by my insurance. I pay a lot for dental insurance and would like to use whenever possible. I am a senior citizen living off social security and I am in dire need of getting that $200 reimbursed to me.
