My daughter called to get my tablet working properly. I'm not very tablet savy. ISSUES Screen time outs, slow, and possible securety isses. In a few days he asked if I wanted a Galaxy Tab A8 either a 32, a 64 or a128. I was clueless. He never came to check out my current tablet to see if it could be cleaned and still usable 7-7-2023 ***** from revolution IT came to my house he brought a computer Tablet. He did not checkout my security,or make sure everything would work properly. These tablets sell between $200 and $280. He charged me $475. And DIDN'T even make sure all setup was correct. Turns out The tablet was not hooked up to my internet. It was on someone else's internet. All I can say is beware. I asked for receipt and he had none, said he'd send it. Still haven't found it. I did pay by check.

Client's daughter called requesting service to her mother's couple year old tablet that was having problems as the screen randomly turning off which is a known issue with older ******* tablet models & has nothing to due with cleaning the exterior of the device as stated in this complaint. After a few minutes on the phone, it was agreed upon that it wouldn't be worth it to spend the money on a diagnostic charge for a device that was at the end of its life cycle & put that money towards a new device. Client's mother was given 3 different options for a new ******* tablet. Once the I had the tablet, I went over to the ******************* residence to transfer all the data from the old device to the new device along with confirming a successful transfer. I spent a little over 2 hours going through the new OS & apps to get her familiarized with the new ******* Tablet. Due to new devices not currently coming with a physical manual inside the box, a pdf version of the manual was sent via email along with an invoice.  At no point throughout the entire process was anything said about there being a WIFI issue on the old tablet since it's not even possible to connect to another nearby WIFI SSID without the password. After sale was complete, *************** stated she no longer wanted device due to it being not what she is used to with her old tablet. After multiple phone calls, client was advised that we could not perform a full refund due to device being open & used due to our policy as stated on our website under the Warranty tab. An Offer of $250 was presented on 7/28/2023 & was told by client that they were just going to keep the new ******* tablet. I also stated that I would be willing to come back out and spend some more time with the *************** & the new device but was told she didn't want that.

I am rejecting this response because: number 1:  I have looked on several websites and this tablet that I received is sold on every web site at or about a cost of $199.00. And this reminds me of on the day of *****'s visit when he delivered the tablet, he kept saying "my girlfriend is going to be so happy , I bought her a new tablet".   Now I know that with the amount I paid $475.00 for the tablet and lack  of service he gave me..... THAT I WAS THE ONE THAT PAID FOR HIS GIRLFRIENDS TABLET.  no wonder he could not give me a receipt which I asked for several times and he made numerus excuses and finally said he'd email it.  And he also said that there was no booklet that comes  with the tablet and he'd email it to me.  Being dishonest is not a good trait for a supposed business guy.

AND HE COULD NOT GIVE ME A RECIEPT. I can not accept his explanation.

    Sincerely,

Unfortunately, there is no returns for any open electronics which includes tablets & is clearly stated on our warranty website page. If you would like, I'd be more than happy to come back out & spend more time going through the tablet with you.

I am rejecting this response because:You're avoiding the issue.  ***** you talked to me prior to you dropping off the tablet about 3 different tablets 32gb, 64gb, and 128gb.  When you asked for payment (not knowing which one you bought for me, and no receipt or manual it was my understanding it was128g. Which  was the one you suggested.  To later find it is a 32gb, on the receipt you emailed, which you printed from your company and emailed to me. With no receipt and no manual at time of your visit I was clueless.  At the time 32gb tablets sell for $220.00

So that means My calculation of my CHARGE should have been  about $220 for the tablet and $50 for you services, about $270

You charged $475.00,    $205 dollars more than it cost.  How do you justice this?

    Sincerely,

That is correct, we did speak about the 3 different options available. We unfortunately do not have any control over the prices of the tablet's seen online, the price at the time we purchased the tablet was well above $220 which with everything all included came out to $475. When it comes to the manual, we unfortunately have no control over how the manufacturers package their devices and the manual was sent via email right away once I was made aware of the situation when you called after I had left that day.

I am rejecting this response because:  ***** you're missing the point,  I am not asking to return the tablet, I'm asking for a fair price (market value  at Target and ******** these tablets are still selling for $199.00 plus tax. I really can not afford to buy your girlfriend a tablet.   I am a senior citizen, living on a fixed income.  What kind of business man are you????  Please don't do this to another person this is not being honest. Danny

    Sincerely,
