Date of transaction is 04-25-2023 My *********** own a grocery store in *********, ** . My husband called ***** who works at Pierce Equipment , the dealer that sold the freezer units (don't remember the date exactly* some time in April of 2023 to report an issue with the freezer .(Please note this was the second time that the freezer had an issue of the same nature. First time , we did not get the bill * My husband clearly remembers talking to her and she told him she would take care of sending the technician. The technician came in and fixed the freezer. It was drain pipe issue. According to the technician, it is a very common manufacturing defect. After sometime , we got a bill from Advanced Repair *************** for $****** . Upon calling Pierce Equipment as to why we got the bill, ***** told me that she would contact the warranty company *********. Now ********* is denying the claim saying that 1* The drain pipe is not covered under warranty (although they had processed the claim previously of the same nature* 2* They dont reimburse the customer if the claim is not processed through them. Now I am stuck with this bill for ****** which has now gone to collection. I tried to find out who made the call to schedule the service but as per Pierce Equipment, they do not have any information in this regard and ********* is claiming that the service was not scheduled by them, My stand is that no one at Pierce Equipment told my husband to call the warranty himself to avoid any conflict. ***** said she would take care of it. I request to please contact Pierce Equipment *************** and ********* ************** both to find out who is responsible for this service call . As a proof I have a voice message from DJ at ********* dated 04-18-23. "This is DJ from ServWare .Your dealer had said that you are having issues with the freezer. If you could call at *********************". ****** at ********* denies that they knew. Thank you
