      I have tried reaching the company by email on Jan. 22, Jan. 30, and Feb. 7, 2022 with no response. The electric blanket I purchased has a five year warranty and stopped working. I purchased the Biddeford Electric Heated Microplush blanket, twin size, on 10/2/2020 from Kohls, model no. U324ED2020902. It has been giving me an E on the display. I followed all the instructions in the manual and it is still giving me the error message. Per the instructions in the manual, I am to return it now because it is malfunctioning. I was going to return it to the store I purchased it from and get a replacement but they dont have any in stock. Also, the company only has a 180 day return policy. It is winter and hard to find an electric blanket in stores. I have not gotten any response and have already purchased another blanket. I would like a prepaid return label for the warrantied blanket and to get a refund of $54.97 which is what I paid for it on sale.

      I sent you an email requesting information needed to return the product for warranty.  Once you provide the needed information about the product, I will send you *** Prepaid label to send the defective product back to us.

      If you want a refund please return the product with a copy of the receipt, so we can provide you your requested refund amount.  Every retailer has their own markup.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me as long as I receive my refund. I received a prepaid label to return the blanket and shipped it last week, but have not received a refund yet.  I also received a replacement blanket that I did not request and asked for  another prepaid label to return the replacement blanket but have not received a response regarding this yet either.

      I most recently purchased and received a Biddeford heated blanket. I didnt have the item (heated blanket) on my bed no more or less then 7 days. When my husband was making our bed a hole was discovered in the blanket. I was (disheartened) by the hole within the blanket. I know I was unable to return the blanket to the store (****) (Covid19) but I am very disappointed and dissatisfied over this knowing what I paid for the heated blanket, and on a strict spending budget for I am disabled. I would like to be able to return the item to the company for a refund or just a replacement. I have reached out to the company several times through email, even tried calling the number listed and twice I was disconnected. I resent a email stating for someone to please reach out to me.       On 1/22/22, I ordered an electric blanket from Biddeford from ******* for *****. The issue was the blanket caught fire in my elderly mothers home. It burnt the blanket, and her mattress. She has red marks and was scared to get back in bed for 3 days. I have received no reply from the company, after attempts to contact them. I can provide the receipt for tracking info.

      This occurred January of 2022, and we sent the customer a prepaid label to return product so that it could be tested. I called her again on 4/28/23 and left a voice message for her to contact me for further assistance.

      My electric blanket has a 5 year warranty but like others on here have mentioned nobody every responds to the warranty requests. Its been 1 week (1/16/22)since my first request and I sent another request on 1/19/22. They do not respond to requests. I received the blanket as a gift and its been less than 5 years since I received it. I just want a return label to send this back for a replacement.

      I'm sorry no one got back to regarding your request.  I would like to assist you and I am assuming you need to return a product for warranty? To return a product under warranty we would need to know which product it is blanket, pad or throw.  Size of the product.  Control Model. Model Number of product (located on the top right hand corner of the ** Label) and the Tracking/Serial Number of the product (located underneath the model number located on the right hand corner of the ** Label).  

      Once we get that information we will be able to provide you a RA number and return label to send the product back to us for warranty.

      I purchased a Biddeford blanket through Macys back in November of 2021. The remote control for the heating element in it broke within three weeks. I contacted Biddeford's customer service department at the end of December. I spoke to a woman who told me that she would send me TWO new remote controls for free as a warranty courtesy. Okay great. It is now January 2022 and I still don't have the controllers. I have called Biddeford's customer service line at ************ about seven times. I wait on hold for a good 30 minutes. I finally got through to someone by calling the main office line. She said that the remotes were in the mail but I haven't received them and they should have gotten here by now. I also never received an email with tracking that I was supposed to get. I called back again and put in two more requests via email on their "Contact Us" section of their website: still nothing. I'm very disheartened by this. I'm unsure why these people are so difficult to get a hold of. I just want the warranty for the blanket to be upheld and I want the remotes I was promised.

      Biddeford heat blanket control - POTENTIAL DANGER - making this complaint because I emailed company and got no response. Cord has four prongs. Control has a light meter at the bottom instead of numbers. Sometimes when you move the dial according to the light meter it will go the opposite direction of what you turn the dial. Sometimes it doesn't move at all and there have been times when it has turned itself up or down without being touched. The blanket itself seems to work okay but I don't trust this control and because they did not respond to my email I'm never going to buy another Biddeford. Yes it is plugged directly into the wall. Don't remember exactly when I bought the blanket. I believe it may have been around October at ******** I want to warn other people not to buy blankets with this kind of control. Would like to have the control replaced but I no longer have my receipt. Not returned to the store because it took a bit before I realized what it was doing.

      On August 26, 2021- I purchased through Fingerhut.com a NQWPW Biddeford Microplush with *************** Heated Blanket for a ******************* item was used for a gift to another individual and when they opened the gift they had mentioned to me a huge defect only one out two remotes was working, I further checked the item myself and found the defect to be true.I contacted Fingerhut Executive Team where they told me to contact the Manufacturers. I spent over $100 for a piece of junk I am asking for the company either Biddefors Blankets LLC or Fingerhut to fix this issue

      I got a heated micro plush throw blanket almost a year ago. I used it a couple of times before it got warm enough to where I didnt need it. I put it away in what it came in and didnt bring it out until now, but, when I went to plug it in, nothing would work. I always make sure to have plugged it into the wall and not an extension cord, I only used it 2-3 times, and took good care of it when not in use. I am disappointed because it is in brand new condition and does not work.

      My best friend bought a queen sized Biddeford electric blanket for me, sage color, sherpa on one side and blanket on the other. She paid over $100 for it. It has a 5 year warranty. I used the blanket maybe 3 times and the display on the controller started showing an E. I unplugged the cord from the blanket and flipped it. It worked maybe 3 more times, then the controller stopped working completely. I would like for this company to send a pre-labled, postage paid box for me to ship this faulty blanket back to them, and I would like to be sent a new, working blanket and controller with a new 5 year warranty since it seems the quality control for these blankets/parts within them was terrible. I didn't respond within a year because I didn't have the receipt (since my friend bought it for me), but after finding where there are so many complaints around the same problem I have...I wouldn't think a receipt is necessary, just make right on this very faulty product! Thank you.

      I purchased king dual control from *******.com February 29, 2019. In 2019 the blanket stop heating. Biddeford sent out new controller 5 year warranty.I reached out to them by e-mail customer service early October with no response. The blanket isnt heating but the controller are working
