I purchased my car from the dealership in Libertyville, ******** in September and then moved to ********** a few weeks after purchase. During the purchase the sales staff was made aware that I would be registering my car in CA and they gave me the info required to complete my registration. After getting to ********** I completed my VIN verification and got everything sent back to the dealership. After several emails and phone calls to ********************* which were ignored, I finally got ahold of the salesperson who sold me my car and I was told that my registration would be sent out in ***** days. After waiting over 30 days, I reached out to **** and the salesperson again, and after several more emails and phone calls which were also never responded to, I was able to get ahold of someone else (***************************) who said I now needed a smog test. By this time my temporary registration had been expired for nearly a month and I had already recieved a ticket which requires me to show proof of registration by the end of March to avoid a fine. ***** told me he would have an extension for my registration available for me but it took over a week of reaching out woth no response to recieve it. I paid a $151 dollar license plate fee to have this process taken care of at purchase and it has been nothing but a headache, and in the middle of all of this I also had to take my vehicle in for repairs to piping which should have been fairly obvious to the mechanic doing the vehicle inspection prior to sale, even more furthering the headache I have had with this purchase. Even after reaching out to the General Manager, 6 months after purchase I without registration, as every time it will arrive in "***** days", there is another document needed, many times being something that has already been done. I am now stuck with a ticket that will not be fixed by the due date, and once paid off, I will have an offense on my record which may affect my insurance rates and my security clearance for work.

Buyer Beware!!As another reviewer commented here: Their used cars come with an automatic $1995 ********** protection plan on the finish that they automatically apply and dont disclose on the initial sticker price.Though their staff will try to tell you otherwise, its a classic bait and switch. You find a car listed on their site for one price (bait). Go through the whole sales process and then the price is actually $2K higher (switch). Again, theyll try to tell you its a value, covers you, blah blah blah. But it's scam behavior. Interestingly, sales rep also let me know that when you first inquire about a vehicle you see on their site, you get routed to a call center in *******. Truly commoditizing the process. No local investment or service here.
