I was given a false "approved" auto deal to lure me four hours to the dealership, only to learn that nothing this dealership and its employees stated was true. ***************** was not at the dealership. I was then tossed around multiple salesmen. I was told I was, again, "approved" for new vehicles with no money down, payments at $550/month with taking my trade for 72 months,with a 17% APR. I have many of these statements in text format, as well as other means of proof. This caused me to have to stay a significant length of time at the dealership, and not getting a vehicle even close to what I was told I was approved for. This made it too late for me to drive the four hours back to *******, where I reside. Due to this, I had to get a hotel overnight, where I stayed for approximately 6 hours. I would not have driven four hours, nor would I have been in the area that long/late at night had this company not committed several different deceptive actions and lied from the beginning. I am out money for the drive, hotel, parking I had to pay for, lost wages from an entire day's work, and more. These actions from Liberty Auto Plaza are illegal and unacceptable. To add to the issue, the vehicle had problems the next morning, which I reached out to the dealership about (as provided in supporting documents). Now, I am being told that the catalytic converter was "stolen" and that I am responsible for the repair. Due to the nature of the sale, the multiple violations of the FTC's "Used Car Rule", and the fact that the vehicle was left at the dealership for 3 days before I was contacted about the repair, it is not my responsibility. I only ended up at the dealership (again, FOUR hours from home) because of a blatant bait-and-switch tactic. I am asking for them to repair the vehicle, deliver the vehicle once repaired and to stop their tactics to save other consumers from this nightmare.
