Vehicle was sold to us under title of "Certified" Used Honda. Took vehicle to local Honda dealer (****************) to diagnose and fix problems we were having early on. While the vehicle was being inspected, tech came out and told me of several items he noticed (just after quick inspection) that were checked off the Certified Warranty Inspection List that were, in their words, "not completed." Cabin filter was filthy, 2 tires that should not have passed inspection for Certified Honda tire tread depth, exterior light was out. Later determined wires were hanging inside driver's side door from a modification made by previous owner, window did not operate properly, timing belt tensioner issue, front door slammed shut due to faulty part. Vehicle was brought to several local Honda dealers for a myriad of problems, main problem being steering/safety concern. It was determined power steering rack was leaking, trans fluid was dirty (also checked off the warranty list by Pauly as passing inspection, flush was recommended but not covered by warranty), power steering has low assist and needs to be addressed (this work was denied by warranty company), cv boot axle passenger side needed replaced and several other issues were found within months of owning this "Certified Honda" vehicle. Some of these items were covered under warranty, however the steering issue remains a safety concern as none of the repairs remedied this situation. Pauly will no longer return our phone calls, Honda customer service has taken us as far as they can. Pauly's "offer" to us was $2,500 towards trade in for another Honda vehicle. Unacceptable as we will lose money on trading a car in so soon. We were lied to about this vehicle being "Certified" and passing these inspections. Attached are documents of work completed/recommended as well as inspection list with items checked off as passing inspection that very soon after purchase became problematic.
