Make a long story short.y wife and I hired All-State Movers to relocate us from ******** to *******. We paid the initial upfront cost to move but when we relocated we fell into a financial bind and was not able to pay our balance. We worked with a guy named ******. He was honestly trying his best to work with us and our situation. Fast forward, some months later we are told that if we couldn't pay the balance the auctioning process would be started. We gave All-State Movers $200 in good faith that we were trying our best to pay. I got sick and wasn't able to work and we only had my wife's income so we decided that we would call it a wash and release our things to be auctioned. We were told we would be refunded our $200 if we couldn't pay and now we are being told it will not be refunded and will be added toward storage costs. I understand that completely but that is not what was explained to me. I've requested to be called back 3x and no one has called or said anything. This is bad business and lacks integrity. I want a resolution to this issue.

All State Movers would like to Apologize to *****/********************* about any issues they may have had with our company. Here at All State Movers, we take pride in the quality of work we provide to our customer, and are very up front with our pricing and estimates prior to booking.  ***** and ****** moved with us on 10/8/21 we provided the shippers with the new estimate. Before we loaded the job and started working we gave them a revised estimate so they were aware of the charges. The price was adjusted to reflect their true inventory list. At this time the customer was not only given notice of volume and price, a signature was given to prove agreement was made on pick up. This document is signed before services began. Every customer is served with the same exact paperwork and is encouraged to read and understand any and everything before signing , On the same day of pick up the customer made a payment towards the balance and was also aware of the balance due, a copy of these documents were also given to the customer for their personal records. We have tried to work with ***** and ****** several time regarding their ****. We have waived many storage fees and also delayed of payment fees. We have also tried our best to come up with a payment plan. After ****** made a payment of $200.00 which went towards his ****. He called our office and demanded to speak with a manager. We replied to several of his calls on our last conversation he demanded to speak with a manager. A manager did respond on 5/13/21 and per our records the call lasted around 11 minutes and the last call was made on 5/19/21 which our records show that was also a long conversation.
We try to help out as much as we possibly could and also provided an enormous discount (over $1,200) to try and help out. Thereafter you were still unable to pay. We do apologize for any inconvenience, but you must understand that you have been in our facility for over 6 months and there are expenses associated with storing any household goods.
We would like to thank you for your business if you have any other issues with us please feel free to give us a call at ************ business hours are from 9am-5pm Monday- Friday
Thank you and Have a good day!
