      We contracted with BathFitter in October of ********************************** our home. After 4 failed installations involving incorrect measurements and damaged liners, the installation was completed in August of 2022. A week later a leak from the tub caused serious plaster damage to our dining room ceiling. BathFitter sent a plumber to repair the leak. He did repair the leak and took pictures of the damage to the ceiling. We have contacted BathFitter on a number of occasions and sent them more pictures of the damage and a proposal from a plasterer. They say they will get back to us but never do. We have spent $450 to repair the plaster and still have to have the ceiling sealed and painted. During this whole process, BathFitter has been inefficient, unresponsive and negligent.

      Bath fitter installed a shower system 2/28/22. It was installed improperly an water damaged the kitchen ceiling below it. Since then, I have been working since then to get the damage repaired properly. The drywall was repaired on 5/6/22, but the painting is still not finished as of 8/11/22. I have repeatedly called the company to schedule the appointment to finish the painting. They keep telling me they will call back, but do not.

      Excerpt from email sent to ************************************ (manager) I decided to have my shower redone with Bathfitters. I called to make an appointment with a consultant and was told it would take 15 min. On Feb 2, a consultant came to see me. I had planned half an hour-however it was just barely enough time I ordered a shower and a frosted door -I do not like clear glass shower doors. I was told that the shower would be installed in one day - by the end of March. I finally got an appointment for May 2nd, and the installer did a great job - up to the door. The door was clear glass. I was informed that the frosted door I ordered was no longer made. BathFitters had THREE MONTHS to inform me that I could not have this door and give me the chance to cancel my order. Instead, the shower had already been installed. I finally said I would take the door that I DID NOT LIKE if I could get a discount on it. I had no choice. By the way, frosted doors are still advertised on their site. THE DOOR WAS ALSO THE WRONG SIZE. So we had to have a SECOND visit. That meant a lot of inconvenience for me since I had to work at home for a second time. I had chosen BathFitters because of the one-day installation. The installer come back a couple of weeks later and realized that for the SECOND TIME he had the SAME TOO SMALL DOOR. We had to have a third visit. They gave me only a $300 discount on the door which I thought was totally ridiculous, stingy, and poor customer service. It was an $8000+ job and horrible service. In conclusion: My shower was installed in May instead of March as promised. I have a door that I do not like. I was not given an opportunity to cancel my order when what I had ordered was out of stock. It took 3 days to install my shower instead of one. I only got a token discount for all of the disturbance and inconvenience. To be honest I thought they should have given me the door since it is BathFitter's fault that I do not have what I ordered.

      On August 10th, 2021 Bathfitter sales consultant, ******, came to my home to show products and services for a stand alone shower replacement. My concerns regarding damages to existing walls and etc. was assured that would not be a problem by ******. I interviewed 3 other same type companies, compared them. On August 19th, 2021, I had a second appt with ******. We went over first visit options,, then made changes, and again assured how beautifully finished my remodel would be. I signed the contract and was told someone would email me permit instructions. On October 1st, **** from Bathfitter left me a voicemail inquiring if I had gotten the permit yet.. On October 4th, **** emailed the instructions. By now I have seen reviews of complaints same as mine. So, I tell ****** about my fears and concerns, she continues to assure me they are better now because they are changing up alot of people. 2 days later, I called ***** to discuss cancellation and she transferred to a number.       On March 31, 2021 we had our basement shower installed by bath fitter. The incorrect shower head and handle were installed. We made bath fitter aware of this discrepancy on April 2, 2021. The were supposed to install a nickel shower head system and handle, and instead installed a cheaper chrome system. After speaking with several employees, it was determined we would get a replacement of Nickel shower head system/handle. We followed up for status on the replacement parts on the following dates: 4/9/2021 5/10/2021 5/13/2021 5/14/2021 - sales person advised they are waiting on the product to come in but it should arrive on 5/17/21 5/18/21 - sales person advised product did not arrive 5/28/21- I followed up for status and asked for the *** information for the Nickle systems, so I Could try to source them myself. 6/2/21 - Sales person advised would ask the office to send info Followed up with no response from business:6/7/21 6/10/21 6/24/21 8/2/21 8/31/21

      I had placed an order in June and by the time they got out here in August to measure they realized they could not fit it in. I would like a refund of my ******* deposit as they have not been able to do the job.
