March 26th 2022 my son needed a tooth extraction done of a baby tooth. The appointment was scheduled well in advanced and when we arrived for his appointment I was told they could not verify the insurance so we needed to pay out of pocket and then we would be reimbursed. We paid the amount of $228.00 for his tooth extraction that day. A few weeks later we received an EOB from our insurance showing they paid the office for the extraction and not us. I promptly called the office and was told yes we see a credit on your account but we can not refund this till his orthodontics treatment is completed. So, fast forward a year later and they still haven't paid our money back. On April 25, 2022 we had an appointment scheduled for another issue with the same tooth for the gum to be lasered so we could attach a bracket and bring the tooth down. We go to the appointment and our told how important the follow up will be after this one to make sure everything is healing correctly, well I have not been able to get my son any orthodontic care since that day. We had an appointment scheduled for June 13th, 2022 and the office cancelled it. They said the doctor had an emergency they weren't sure when he would be back. My son has been two and half months behind on his treatment that I have already paid in full in the amount of $2000.00. No one here will return our calls or emails and I was forced to get him care else where. Now my insurance is telling me that everyone's family dental is still billing the insurance for appointment that have been cancelled by them and are getting paid. I am looking for my money back for incomplete treatment and also for them to stop billing my insurance because my insurance will not pay the new needed orthodontist till they do. I have left many messages and have emailed with no response for the past 2.5 months.

Idk why Im so ******, but do you think its ok to push a woman that has a baby an hour and 15 minutes behind everyone else bc she has a baby Id think theyd want to get me in and out before the baby starts screaming. Idk its kind of why I made the appointment for a certain time. But idk maybe Im crazy for showing up on time and having my baby with Me. Everyones family dental McHenry doesnt welcome mothers with babies I guess. Also because Im on state insurance they treated me less than typical patients.
