    Elderly/disabled beware. As long as you don't deal with the owner, *****, you might be ok. Long story, will try to make it short. **** came to the house, gave me a quote including pack and unpack. Had to change move date a few weeks (closing on house changed) and all of a sudden SHE was "unavailable" and quote was gone. Could only speak with ***** and he was very confused. Told him I would unpack and only needed them to pack. He quoted MORE than original! (He told me to take off pack and unpack would save me $900.00). After much back and forth said he'd lock me in at original quote. According to the original quote, packers were supposed to come the day before the move. ***** said he felt they could pack and load on same day as there wasn't that much.He never came out to see what there was. Very unorganized. I had a very sparsely furnished 1300 sf house. He sent 3 packers, had it packed and loaded in 3 hours. Only sent 2 movers (3rd floor with elevator which isn't even stated on the bill) and should have had 3. Charged me 11 hours and 45 minutes. I have NEVER in 50+ years of moving been charged more than the estimate (and no one ever came out to look though at that point I was able to pack myself). This company wound up charging me $1100.00 MORE than the estimate. So it cost me $3200.00 plus to move 24 miles (********* to *********). It didn't cost that much to move a 2300 sf home 1700 miles (********, ** to *********, **)! The movers were a pleasure to work with but this company is absurd in price.
