    United Equitable insurance should be shut down. My brand new 2025 ***** Trax was backed into by a drunk that fled the scene. I was able to find him at a bar down the road. Went through his insurance company - United Equitable - and theyve been giving me the run around on this for 4 months. He hit my car in October and I was told he had 90 days to respond. That time was up 2/28/25. I have not been able to get ahold of my assigned claims coordinator or anyone with their claims service. After a 30 minute hold I finally was told that everything was DENIED. So now I have to go through my insurance company and pay the deductible. This place is a scam and I hope my insurance company is at least able to go after them. Praying my rate doesnt go up. Would have taken care of this entire mess 4 months ago if they had just been open or responsive about it.

    I was in a car accident on September 15, 2024, in my brand new ***** civic 2025 involving another young lady who had car insurance with united equitable insurance I filed a claim with the company because the young lady was at fault and also a police report I did all my paperwork and submitted pictures of my vehicle because my car is totaled it has been 3 months since I filed the claim and no one has reached out to me I call to get an update every day for the adjuster not to answer or has not come up with any settlement yet I have a lawyer who had been reaching out to united equitable insurance as well and they are not responding this is very unprofessional united equitable insurance as a company and inconvenience for me because I cannot get a new car because united equitable insurance will not resolve the issue that one of their customers did and they are not being responsible for i need this handled ****

    This company is nothing but a scam insurance company. They have over 235 one star reviews on ******. Until my accident I wasnt even aware they were my insurance company because my policy was purchased through United Auto Insurance agency. In September my car was hit while parked on the street and theyve done everything in their power to do nothing. Ignoring emails, phone calls, delays in sending documentation. Theyre denying my claim over a complete asinine reason. Even though what theyre saying isnt true. Im livid. Theyre thieves, liars, unprofessionals, and breaking Illinois state laws. And acting in bad faith. Theyve been reported several times.

    On May 12, 2024, someone insured by this company - United Equitable Insurance - rear-ended my car. A police report was filed on the scene and a claim opened with United Equitable. It is now October 30 and United Equitable has denied the claim, as they say it is their policy that if their insured party does not respond to their request for information, they will not honor the claim, even though it was clearly his fault, as confirmed by the police report. I have called them, my insurance company has called them and there is never a return call, and even if a live person is reached, we are immediately transferred to a voicemail. Their customer service is abysmal, and their policy of not honoring a legitimate claim seems illegal and entirely against the point of having insurance.

    Currently insured by United Equitable Insurance Company with full coverage.Our vehicle was stolen on 7-25-24 and recovered the next day on 7-26-24. A police report was made, and a claim was filed within an hour of noticing our vehicle was stolen, with our insurance company- United Equitable Insurance ********************************** has since then to current, requested at least 20 different documents and forms, which have all been sent in a timely manner, and confirmed all were received. Every time we call United Equitable Insurance Company for updates, which is at least weekly, we are told that their system is down, they cant view our file, they need additional documents, they do not answer our phone calls, or return our phone calls back. When we rarely speak to a representative, they transfer our calls to a voice mail.We have provided everything requested and have been getting nothing but the run around for coming up on 3 months.Per United Equitable Insurance Company, a claim has to be filed within ********************************************************************** ordered to process a claim.90 days from the date in which our claim was filed will be on 10-25-24.I am certain they are purposely doing this to avoid, and get out of paying for any repairs our vehicle may need.I am a full time nursing student and a mom of 4 children. Due to not having transportation, I have been unable to get to school.This is unacceptable for a business in which we are paying for services. Please help. I dont know what to do or how to go about solving this situation with United Equitable Insurance Company.

    I had an accident September 2nd 2024, where I got T-Bone hit and then they ran away. My driver side and rear side airbags deployed. I got stuck in the car and I was not able to get out because both of the doors were stuck. The central pillar of the vehicle was violently hit together with the doors. The car practically needs to be totaled. I am still paying the loan on this car, without having the vehicle. The insurance picked up the vehicle the day after the accident and then I did not hear anything anymore from them. I received the list of papers to sign and fill out, by mail, so I did it and I sent them back twice, by fax and by email, because they said they never received them. I have been multiple times to the office located in *****************, where I did my contract, but they didn't know what to do, so they sent an extra copy of the documentation by fax to the claim department, but the department said that they never received the documents. I sent them the receipt from the fax, and they still denied. They never answer the calls, in the whole month I was able to talk to them just two times, and after more than 3 weeks, and they were rude, not letting me speak, and they never been clear about the situation. They don't care about anything in regard of the situation. they didn't update me about the adjuster, until today, October 7, telling me that they were going to send me an email to sign for an authorization for the adjuster, that I don't even know who it is, to fix the car. They never called me to check if I was fine, or if I got injured. Nothing. I bought that car in March. It was a brand-new car. I need them to total the vehicle to let me stop the payments that I am still doing without being able to work fully because of my physical situation. This is a shame.

    Its been 3 months since I filed the claim with the insurance company but they still asking for different type of forms and papers and are not processing the claim till now

    Hello how you doing. This complaint is about a 3 car accident neither insurance company want to pay for the damages or the loss of my vehicle. At first they said they was going to estimate the cost of it but then turn around and said they wasn't going to do nothing but deny my claim because the driver and owner of the car didn't have a driver's license. That's ********************** company. They client hit someone else and that someone else hit me and I was at a red stop light when out of no where I was hit they don't won't to pay for my car. The other car had insurance also state farm. State farm told me that they was doing a Surbergation against the United equitable insurance company and that they can't help me. My insurance company said by me working for **** they can't help me at all and **** can't help because I didn't have a order or passenger in the car with me at the time of the accident so I suppose to be stuck paying for a truck that's destroyed ,air bags came out. State farm client fled the scene once he hit me. He got a citation for leaving but he came back. So I just don't no what to do. I need help with this no one's willing to pay for my car or take blame. I'm out of work been out of work since the day of the accident 08/28/2024. Can someone please help me and if more info is needed please contact me.

    Car accident on 7/13/22. I was insured under United Equitable Insurance. Other party was at fault. I paid $500 deductible. Contacted United Equitable for the reimbursement on my deductible with no response 1/12/23. Called them at another point and they said my claim was in subrogation. Eventually got a reply from subrogation on 1/27/23. Agent said she was still working with the at fault party. I requested update on 3/27/23. Got a response on 4/3/23 saying still haven't heard back from the at fault party. Contacted for update on 4/17/23. No response. Contacted for update 2/3/24. I got a response 2/6/24 saying they were pursuing the at fault party. Requested update on 5/6/24 and received update that same day saying there was still no response. I contacted the at fault party Insurance, Mercury Insurance, and they said Mercury never received a request from United Equitable for the 50% responsibility conclusion that the companies came to. Their records indicate that they requested United Equitable for the 50% payment and it was denied. I contacted United Equitable Insurance subrogation on 8/13/24 with this information from Mercury insurance and asked for further insight. No response received as of this date from that subrogation agent. On 8/2724, I called United Equitable and spoke to another subrogation agent. I gave her all the information about the claim and what Mercury Insurance said. She said she would try to help in one day. I called her back on 9/10/24. She said that United Equitable was still waiting for response from Mercury, which we had already discussed this information. Therefore, I reminded her that Mercury said United Equitable denied their request and ******* did not receive a request. She then said that United Equitable sent the driver information to the state on 11/2023, 8/2024, and 9/2024 so they can suspend his license and prompt payment. I requested email record of the latter provided information. Have not received yet.

    Put in a claim for car to be fixed on 8/13/2024 they keep telling me they approved the paper work for the auto body shop to fix my car and also mailed the check out but I have talked to the shop and they are telling me united equitable have sent no paper work over to them for them to fix my car this has been going on for weeks now I pay my insurance with united equitable every month for 391 dollars and they continue to tell lies about not getting proper paper work from me to they never received it to they have sent paper work over to the auto body shop they hang up the phone never return calls and curse and very unprofessional.
