Hello how you doing. This complaint is about a 3 car accident neither insurance company want to pay for the damages or the loss of my vehicle. At first they said they was going to estimate the cost of it but then turn around and said they wasn't going to do nothing but deny my claim because the driver and owner of the car didn't have a driver's license. That's ********************** company. They client hit someone else and that someone else hit me and I was at a red stop light when out of no where I was hit they don't won't to pay for my car. The other car had insurance also state farm. State farm told me that they was doing a Surbergation against the United equitable insurance company and that they can't help me. My insurance company said by me working for **** they can't help me at all and **** can't help because I didn't have a order or passenger in the car with me at the time of the accident so I suppose to be stuck paying for a truck that's destroyed ,air bags came out. State farm client fled the scene once he hit me. He got a citation for leaving but he came back. So I just don't no what to do. I need help with this no one's willing to pay for my car or take blame. I'm out of work been out of work since the day of the accident 08/28/2024. Can someone please help me and if more info is needed please contact me.Initial Complaint

Car accident on 7/13/22. I was insured under United Equitable Insurance. Other party was at fault. I paid $500 deductible. Contacted United Equitable for the reimbursement on my deductible with no response 1/12/23. Called them at another point and they said my claim was in subrogation. Eventually got a reply from subrogation on 1/27/23. Agent said she was still working with the at fault party. I requested update on 3/27/23. Got a response on 4/3/23 saying still haven't heard back from the at fault party. Contacted for update on 4/17/23. No response. Contacted for update 2/3/24. I got a response 2/6/24 saying they were pursuing the at fault party. Requested update on 5/6/24 and received update that same day saying there was still no response. I contacted the at fault party Insurance, Mercury Insurance, and they said Mercury never received a request from United Equitable for the 50% responsibility conclusion that the companies came to. Their records indicate that they requested United Equitable for the 50% payment and it was denied. I contacted United Equitable Insurance subrogation on 8/13/24 with this information from Mercury insurance and asked for further insight. No response received as of this date from that subrogation agent. On 8/2724, I called United Equitable and spoke to another subrogation agent. I gave her all the information about the claim and what Mercury Insurance said. She said she would try to help in one day. I called her back on 9/10/24. She said that United Equitable was still waiting for response from Mercury, which we had already discussed this information. Therefore, I reminded her that Mercury said United Equitable denied their request and ******* did not receive a request. She then said that United Equitable sent the driver information to the state on 11/2023, 8/2024, and 9/2024 so they can suspend his license and prompt payment. I requested email record of the latter provided information. Have not received yet.Initial Complaint

Put in a claim for car to be fixed on 8/13/2024 they keep telling me they approved the paper work for the auto body shop to fix my car and also mailed the check out but I have talked to the shop and they are telling me united equitable have sent no paper work over to them for them to fix my car this has been going on for weeks now I pay my insurance with united equitable every month for 391 dollars and they continue to tell lies about not getting proper paper work from me to they never received it to they have sent paper work over to the auto body shop they hang up the phone never return calls and curse and very unprofessional.Initial Complaint

It is impossible to get ahold of this insurance company. I have multiple customers with claims with *********************************************. Every time I have called for anything, I push all the right options and get hold music. I then will hear someone pick up the phone put it back on hold and then a ringing sound and phone automatically hangs. I try 2-3 times every time I call and get the same response. I know that their own customers experience this as well. This is outrageous that they are getting away with taking peoples money for insurance coverage, and then when they are needing help with a claim (which they are legally bound to provide) they can't get anything from the insurance. This doesn't make any sense and I will continue to file complaints until we get a response and improvement on this issue.Initial Complaint

This complain is about this horrible insurance company. United Equitable Insurance Company. I was in an accident on 8/30/2022. It was totally the other parties fault and there are police report proving this. I went to the hospital because my back was hurting really bad.After the accident my car was at the shop for a full year because the insurance company would not pay for the car to be fixed. After the year I ended up using my savings to paying $12,000 to get my car fixed.Im getting bills from the hospital that I went to after the accident for close to $2,000. I have been getting in touch with them after being on hold for hours and for the past 2 years theyve been telling me they are working on it/will reimburse me for the $12,000 and pay for my medical bill.Still have not got a dime from them to this day and if they dont play my medical bill by 08/30/2024 it becomes my responsibility.I would like to get the money I paid to get my car fixed even thought it was not my fault. BUT most importantly I need them to pay for my medical bill before the end of August.I cant even get in contact with them anymore. Its like they see my number and send my voicemail.Initial Complaint

- Date of accident: 03/17/2024 - United Equitable/Amigo Insurance (car insurance company) is refusing to pay for my car's repairs even though their insured was at fault. They claim that the person driving the insured vehicle was not included on the insured's policy. On 06/10/2025 I was rear ended by a person having United Equitable Insurance. I have contacted them over 15 times, sent forms twice (which they say they never got) and finally stopped after being rudely treated and having the phone slammed down on me when I was trying to find out when my vehicle would be fixed.. ************ has hundreds of negative reviews on line, was cited by the ******************* of Insurance but continues to take clients money.Initial Complaint

United equitable has been dealing with my car , and will not let me get an estimate on my car also does not answer any phone calls . They said my car is a total loss and I have to contact the total loss department and will not give me any phone numbers to the department or to my adjuster . This is the worst company and I was with them for 3 years
