I was contact in December by the company about doing some local advertising. On January 9th, the advertising proof was approved, and I was informed the advertising would be in place within 2-3 weeks, up to 30 days. Mid-February I went to the store where the advertising was to be in place, there was nothing. I call and emailed the representative there, **** ****. He stated that he would check into things. No response. March, I contacted them again, was told that someone from management would be in touch. No contact made. I have since emailed, and called numerous times over the past 3 weeks, with no response. There is still no response from **** **** the representative, nor any management. I have now been billed a total of $1425 for an advertising campaign that never has had any advertising in place. I have emailed, to cancel, and asked for a refund. I have called and asked to cancel and a refund. There has been no response from anyone at the company in form of phone or email. I simply want my money back for services not provided by the company.Business Response

I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding a kiosk placement agreement that was misrepresented by Terraboost Media at a CVS location. We were led to believe that our kiosk would be placed at the front entrance of the store, ensuring high foot traffic and visibility. However, after finalizing our payment, we discovered that the kiosk was instead placed in a secluded corner near the vaccination roomfar from any significant customer traffic. When we inquired about the "pending location approval" status on 3/8/25 before installation, we were assured by ***** *******, our ****************** Manager that this simply referred to the shipping and installation process, not a potential change in placement. However, it is now clear that a new location was being approved without our knowledge or consent. Had we been informed of the actual placement, we would never have agreed to move forward. After further research, we have found multiple similar complaints regarding misrepresentation of kiosk placements, indicating a pattern of deceptive business practices. We have attempted to resolve this issue directly with Terraboost Media, requesting a refund due to their failure to deliver on the location, but they have refused to take responsibility. We believe this to be a clear case of misrepresentation and are seeking assistance from the BBB in resolving this matter. If the company is unwilling to issue a refund or an appropriate credit, we are prepared to take further legal action.Customer Answer

This is a ************* Look at their bad reviews!!! We wish we had! They sell you time on a kiosk which is not visible to shopping center clients entering or exiting the store. The shopping center clients haves to go in search of sanitizing wipes to even find the kiosk. Then the adds cycle for 10 or 20 seconds followed by 90 seconds of Terraboost Media adds for the Kiosk. On 3 of our 4 kiosks, they never even loaded our adds. Then, when you call this to their attention, they go through months of pretending to be fixing the issues and promise that the kiosks are being relocated. The Grocery Store managers say that we are not the only ones who complained. ?then the keep charging your credit card without authorization and refuse to cancel the ~$3,000 contracts. ******!Business Response

Hello,I hired an advertising media company for one year and they are autocharging me into year two and say I owe 1200 remaining for a contract of 2700. I never ever would have entered into a contract for 2700 as we are in our third year of practice as a group and could never afford that. It was expressly told to me that this was a one year contract for 225 annually. I am a psychotherapy practice owner and understand that one year is the implied term by law. This company swindled me and others into a longer contract by adding a very small tiny print clause allowing them to continue to deduct from my business account for services we do not use not did we agree to use past the one year contract date. If you could please investigate this I would greatly appreciate it. I now have to close my business checking account due to the fraudulent business practices of Terraboost Media. Please help me . I greatly appreciate your assistance in this matter. Thank you, ****** M *****, ** LCSWBusiness Response

?? WARNING: Avoid TerraBoost Media (******) at All Costs! ??I regret to share my terrible experience with TerraBoost Media, a company that breaches contracts, delivers subpar work, and pressures clients into agreements they dont honor.I never received the agreed-upon services, including:? Proper communication ? The promised second set of artwork ? Professional-quality work that met basic industry standards The initial designs looked amateur, rushed, and completely unusablefar from what was promised. When I raised concerns, I was told the design director was fired and that I would receive new designs. I never did. When I formally requested termination due to their breach of contract, I was met with erroneous claims, dishonesty, and even threats from ownership. They falsely claimed I had received professional work and insisted I continue paying for services they never delivered. This company has zero integrity. Their owner threatened to use my likeness and business in advertising without my permission and attempted to charge my bank account unlawfully. Im not the only victima colleague who referred me also had her card charged without authorization.I have 30+ text messages proving the false promises made by their sales team and am pursuing all legal action. I have filed complaints with my bank, the BBB, and state authorities.?? If you value honesty, professionalism, and your hard-earned money, stay far away from Terraboost Media.#ScamAlert #UnethicalBusiness #ContractBreach #ConsumersBeware #BusinessFraudBusiness Response

We apologize for the rocky start to the campaign. We have moved on from one of our 3rd party sales partners and have taken over the design process from them. We are actively in touch with the client working on a restart/reset and will compensate the client for the delays and artwork process transition.Initial Complaint

On May 16, 2024 ***** reached out to me on the behalf of Terraboost and asked me if I wanted to partner with them to have my ad at a local ***. May 17th, I signed but over text and the phone, I confirmed with him the specific placement and if I got that location then I will sign. When you enter the cvs, there is a sliding door then the 2nd set of doors are push/pull doors. I clearly indicated through text and phone call that I need the sign after the 2nd set of the door and would be the only reason I sign up. I was told that will be possible and will be where my sign is. **************** throughout has been horrible. After my sign was posted, it was not in the location I signed up for. Talked to *****, was told he will fix it. I contacted him on July 24th, he ghosted me. Never responded. Sign was not in the right position. talked to terraboost customer service many times and told 2 times, it will be cancelled. Doesn't get cancelled even after I'm told it will be and will get full refund. Told a manager will contact me, guess what? Never happens either. I'm only contacted by them when they want money. I went to that *** many months later and it was blocked by someone's notary sign and by cvs merchandise and signs in front of it. Still not in the right position. THey moved it over to somewhere I didn't sign up for, told wouldn't move. Went today Feb 10th and moved but still not in the location I paid for. Too much headache and run around. I just want this cancelled and never charged again by this company as when I signed up, I was signed up to be in a specific location after both - 2 sets of doors. Never given what was promised and signed up based on. Asked **** ******** to cancel and he said a manager will contact me or give me an option of switching to a different social media ad instead but never contacted. That was back in late December. Too much hassle with this company. Just want it cancelled and refunded. They don't fulfill their promise.Business Response

I went to check on my kiosk and it was replaced with another kiosk from another business. I reached out to Terraboost and they informed me my kiosk was gone a month and a half. I was charged for the time it was gone and I asked for those months to be refunded, as I am paying $200 a month. They refused to refund those months and also have stopped answering my calls and emails. I spoke with *** ******, a sales **** once on the phone. I told him that I am a pregnant small business owner and am looking for help to have my business refunded and have this contract terminated before I have my baby and go on maternity leave. I should not have to constantly check on a kiosk I am paying for when Terraboost is supposed to be ensuring my advertisement is where its supposed to be. He said he would call me back - Crickets for over a week now and Ive since left another voicemail and email. This is how this company treats business owners and pregnant women.Business Response
