I lost my job in 2020 and have gone through the worst two years of my life. These guys guilt tripped me about my late payments affecting their bonuses, and were inflexible towards any solution I've come up with. They would not allow me to sublease when my payments fell behind. They would not help with any late fees. Then, after getting caught up, they raised my rent by over 20% and tripled my late fees on the first day after the grace ******* I told them the increase was out of my budget and found another apartment for $400 cheaper and asked to be transferred. They said no because their policy says you cannot have more than two late payments in a 12 month period to qualify for a transfer. They would NOT work with me on anything. And what infuriates me, is my rent was never late until March of 2020. I am disgusted at their ethics and unwillingness to help me find a solution, even a short term solution like helping me with late fees (that are outrageous by the way) so I can get next month's rent in on time to avoid the fees. These were all reasonable requests, but they would not help with anything whatsoever, not even move me into an apartment that I could afford. I don't care what their policies are. They could be decent but chose not to be. I would move, but my credit took a massive hit in 2020 and I will not qualify for another apartment at this time. Do better, Windscape.
