      Turnbull is not sticking to the original agreement and is prolonging my debt resolution. The original agreement said all debt would be be paid off in 48 months. Its looking like 72 now based on what they have on their site and on their app

      I've made payments towards Turnball Law Group to help settle debts. After a few months of payments I realized this was only putting myself into more debt. I had asked them to stop taking money from my account and had to call my bank and ask them to stop letting them take payments as they were not answering my calls or emails. From the very beginning I was told I would have a dashboard and if I wanted to end the relationship I could request money be given back to me. Not only were my request have been not answered, I no longer have access to the dashboard to try and get my money back. I can't even see how much I've paid to them but it is a lot.

      Thank you for the opportunity to address the concerns of ****** ****. We attempted to contact the phone number in this post on May 15, 2025.

      The only client we have in our files matching this name, phone number and/or email was enrolled with us on December 28, 2022.The attempts to draft the scheduled deposits per the agreement were all declined by the bank that was provided to us during enrollment. ****** ***** file was closed on May 31, 2023, due to non-payment and no activity. No funds were ever successfully drafted, so no refund was owed when the file was closed in 2023.Additionally, the dashboard to any program is no longer available after 90 days of termination of a program file.

      ****** **** can review the program deposit attempts by requesting a ledger from the third-party bank that handles all deposits and payments on behalf of the Turnbull Law Group program. This request can be made by calling Crossroad Financial/Finxera at ************. We will continue to attempt to reach ****** **** over the next few days, but we feel that this complaint was posted in error.

      I am filing this complaint to report ongoing mismanagement, neglect, and harmful practices by Turnbull Law Group, LLC, which I engaged in 2022 for debt consolidation services.Despite providing all required documentation and signing over Power of Attorney to act on my behalf with creditors, Turnbull has consistently failed to act in a timely or effective manner. One of my accounts, which had been under their management for over two years, recently escalated to garnishmenta situation that should have been fully avoidable. This garnishment has now directly impacted my paycheck and compromised my ability to cover essential financial obligations, including my mortgage and household utilities.Over the past 22 days, I have received vague or delayed responses, with no viable resolution in sight. Turnbull had control of six accounts. Only one was settled (in 2022), one is now in a payment plan, and another is in active garnishment. The remaining three accounts had to be pulled from their service and handed to another firm, which has already negotiated two settlements expected to resolve within five monthssomething Turnbull failed to accomplish in over two ******** addition to poor communication and a lack of results, I am being charged a monthly deposit amount of $596.00based on the original six-account total. Given that only one account was settled under Turnbull's management, the current payment structure is unjustifiable and feels predatory under the circumstances.I am asking the *** to investigate Turnbull Law Groups practices regarding consumer protection, contractual transparency, and financial accountability. I am also requesting that appropriate enforcement action be considered to prevent further harm to other consumers.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      TurnBull Law group, Llc has continued to not provide resolution or accountability for their actionless attempts to  resolve my issues with accounts nor their ability to actually settle accounts as they have advertised and stated within their contractual agreement for my accounts as noted in all of my DocUSign agreement.  I have a current garnishment for an account that ********************** has had since 2022 in which the creditor(capital one/APH) has never had any contact from or with at all based on my conversation with (******/APH) On Monday, April 28th, 2025 at 9:35 am to 10:18 am.  This information was not provided but CONFIRMED by *. **** who stated the reason the garnishment took place was because there Was never any contact by TurnBull law Group, Llc or Negotiation or Terms of Agreement ever attempted on any level from 2022 through the issuance of the garnishment nor at any compacity prior to the phone call on April 28th.   Turnbull has continually lied about contacting creditors  that they state are placed in "Negotiation" status on my dashboard.  Turnbull also collected settlement fees and introduced frivolous payments during multiple instances when there was no accounts in Negotiation or in a settlement state such as from 03/23 - 12/23 in where the amount that was deposited into the account by ********** was swiftly removed and notated as "Settlement Fee" $323.04, "Payment" $146.01 and **************** Fees" $9.95 which equals 479.00.  See attachments - During this Window NO ACCOUNT was paid on by TURNBULL.  The attachments are just a small sample of where theft was performed by a company that stated they were to resolve debt by negotiating settlements to removes accounts but all they have done is stolen money while only resolving 1 account but state money was never in the accounts while they were they indiviuals removing money when there were no accounts settled or negotiated ESPECIALLY during 9 months of 2023.

We reject ******* allegations on the following grounds: Per the agreement signed by ****** ***** on February 18, 2022, Turnbull Law Group is unable to assist with the litigation for accounts whose summons and complaint has already been served to the client. Court records indicate that ****** received the legal documents on August 26, 2021 at 10:39am. During the enrollment conversation which our team reviewed, ****** was asked if there were any accounts that had previously been served legal pages, to which the answer was given as No.
       Additionally, the agreement states that all supporting pages should be provided to all accounts and ****** did not provide the judgment document he received May 16, 2022. When ****** sent the garnishment documents to our team earlier this year, our attorney reviewed the account to see if we could assist, as a courtesy, as the dates indicated it did not fall within the agreement representation. Our Georgia attorney contacted the opposing counsel and was told there was no course of action that Turnbull Law Group could facilitate.

      Ive had an extremely frustrating experience with Turnbull Law Group. Ive called *************** multiple times trying to speak with my assigned attorney regarding a lawsuit and upcoming court date. The first time, I was told Id hear back in 2448 hours. The next week, I was told 35 business days. After another follow-up call, they said the request was escalated. Still no contact. Eventually, I was given the attorneys email and followed up directly, but still received no response.After another call, I was told they could request a new attorney, but that would take 35 more business days. I asked to speak with someone higher up and was told there is no way to escalate beyond ***************. Theres no way to speak to anyone at Turnbull Law Group directly.Ive already paid a lump sum of $4,000 to demonstrate good faith and a willingness to resolve this debt, yet I cannot get a response or proper representation. Im now nearing a court date without legal support and am beyond frustrated. I will also attach the email thread with the attorney.This lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable, especially for a legal services provider. Im requesting this complaint be made public to warn others, and I ask that Turnbull Law Group be held responsible for their poor service and failure to deliver on their obligations.

      This is not resolved. I paid legal fees for a lawyer to appear on 6/11 regardless of settlement reached.  The email I received from *** was very vague and did not answer my question of lawsuit being dismissed and if not, what actions would occur next.  The lawyer has left Turnbull.  Ive also filed with VA State Bar and will continue escalating until I get exactly what I signed up and paid for.  It should not take this much effort on my part to get everyone to do their jobs correctly.

      I have worked with this group to settle debt for over a year. Paying them extra money to settle things for me. TIL I went to pay off some of it in lump sums to settle debt quicker. They started refusing to settle the other creditors.I got to the point of contacting creditors and closing them myself. Yet was still paying for their service.When I called and told them I made the final deposit to them and to close my account they started telling me it takes 2 weeks for electronic money to clear. And that it takes 30 days to settle the account.They have continued to take money from me for services and getting paid when they have done nothing at this point. My last credit has the money in there to pay it but they are still taking money from me claiming it takes 30 days to close it.

      Turnbull is the worst company to work for and is a literal scam. Do not seek out employment from them nor services. They are affiliated with a multi million dollar court case and are associated with fraudulent business and shady operations. I would highly suggest obtaining legal representation from a reputable law firm as this law firm is not reputable nor trustworthy. They terminated my team without notice, did not provide proper pay for hours worked nor left things on good terms. We were misguided, misinformed, and . They essentially just left us high and dry after years of service. Please do not seek out services from them as this is a waste of money, most of the time you will never hear back from an attorney, and you will end up paying quite a bit into their program to basically not have any of your debts settled out. Please save yourself the trouble.

      While being enrolled in the program with Turnbull, in July, 2024 I received a Warrant in Debt from my creditors, ****. On 8/8/24 I was contacted by a Turnbull attorney and she advised me that this creditor would not accept a partial settlement. She advised me that Turnbull would NOT charge a settlement fee for this since I would have to repay the full settlement amount of the debt. A judgment was ultimately issued for this debt with **** in the amount of *******. My original debt for **** that I enrolled with Turnbull was ******* and the final settlement amount was *******. During this process Turnbull recommended that I obtain an acceleration loan with Achieve to expedite handling and to avoid further litigation. I contacted Turnbull in 1/2025 to check status of the **** account and at that time they paid the judgement with the acceleration loan. Turnbull charged me a settlement fee of *******. Turnbull did not communicate with me during the litigation process and after being told in writing by the **** that no fees would be charged Turnbull should refund this settlement fee to me. I received NO assistance after the suit was filed against me. Turnbull failed to provide any services during litigation with ****. I would ask that Turnbull make it right by refunding the ******* settlement fee for that debt. I spoke to client services at Turnbull and I was told this fee would be refunded and that I would be receiving a call or email when the refund was processed. I did not receive this refund and contacted client services multiple times to try to resolve this issue however they have not refunded this fee. Additionally, Turnbull did not initiate working with creditors Discover and Achieve until after I contacted them to prompt them. I am requesting a refund of settlement fees charged for my those creditors also since they did nothing until I obtained the acceleration loan and prompted them to work on settlements. Total refund of ******* in fees is requested.

      Do not sign up for this program without thorough research. Look for services with a settlement fee below 25% to avoid excessive ********** my case, *****% of my payments have gone toward fees, while only *****% has been applied to my actual debt. I have paid $7,176, but $3,076 has been taken in fees. Additionally, the negotiated settlement amount they charge is solely for their profit, meaning nearly half of each payment goes directly to themsomething not clearly explained upfront.Not to mention, their negotiation tactics prioritize their extra fees over resolving your debt, which results in delinquency and a major credit score drop. Even after two years in this program, my credit score has not recovered, despite having paid off my car and making 100% on-time payments for all other obligations.This program is a financial trap that profits off struggling consumers rather than providing real relief. Save yourself the headache and look for better alternatives before committing.

We have attempted to reach ****** by phone and email beginning March 18, 2025. ****** enrolled a total debt amount of $14,436.00 across five cards, one of which was recently removed. The other four cards have been settled, and two of those agreements (settlements) have been completed.

      The fees as outlined in the agreement that ****** signed at the time of enrollment on April 18, 2023, are based on the balance of the account at the time of enrollment. These are collected per negotiated account, and are not based on a percentage of the deposit amount each month. Turnbull Law Group, LLC will only collect a 27% settlement fee once we obtain a settlement, the client approves the settlement, and the first payment is made to the creditor. No additional fees are collected by Turnbull Law Group beyond those outlined in the agreement signed by the client.An accounting of all funds is available by requesting a ledger.

      I enrolled in a debt consolidation program Turnbull Law Group had, at first it seemed they were working with creditors. I was to pay ****** every two weeks to handle debt. I received notice that my account was under the amount needed to make payments to creditors. I was ask to pay 350 every two weeks. *************** had contacted an attorney and I notified *** to handle this situation. One of the payments were missed and had to add more money to account, then *** stopped paying all together and I was garnished through my work after paying 6500 dollars.

      ***** enrolled in Turnbull Law Group on November 1, 2022, with $13,020 in debt across five accounts. In January 2023, we settled a smaller enrolled account. On February 3, 2023, ***** received a summons and complaint for the largest account, a ******* loan. Our team negotiated a payment plan with ******* which was filed as a consent judgment in May, 2023.Because it was a payment plan but ******* refused to reduce the balance,Turnbull Law Group collected no fee for this agreement. Of the 24 payments scheduled in the agreement, sixteen were made on behalf of the client out of the funds deposited into the dedicated account. All agreements and scheduled payments are based on promised deposits. During the timeframe outlined in the consent judgment, ***** missed three deposits into his Dedicated Account, March 2024, April 2024 and June 2024. Due to the reduced funds available, the agreement became **** and Void in September 2024. In October 2024, ***** notified our team of the garnishment threats received from ******** attorney, but at the same time, ***** also stopped depositing funds into the Dedicated Account, preventing any attempts to resume payments to Mariner.
