They collected my information for a few years. I have not been paid anything since 2023. I contacted them, they said their sponsors weren't paying them. So our payments were being delayed. Now they canceled my account without my permission, and I still have not got paid. I tried to contact them again, and their email will not accept my email.Initial Complaint

Tapestri collects user location data through their app and then pays users back for the collection of that data. Currently, Tapestri claims that once a user reaches $65 in their payout wallet, they will make a payment to the user through their connected Stripe account. I have received a number of payouts since I am an original user. The payout threshholds were much lower when Tapestri first began. I suspect they increased the payout threshhold because they were having difficulty paying ******** November I had enough money in my payout wallet that I was going to reach the $65 threshold at the end of the month and should have gotten paid in December. However, on December 1, when the Pending amount should get added to your Payout amount, and your pending amount gets reset to zero, I noticed that my Payout amount had actually gone down. It should have gone up as the pending amount that reflects data collected for that previous month gets added to the Payout amount. But instead of going up, my amount went down. I alerted Tapestri to this issue. I got an automated response that someone would get back to me within ***** hours but nobody did. Each of the next 3 months, I have emailed Tapestri support showing them, with Screenshots of my wallet, that at the end of each month, my Payout amount is actually going down, instead of going up as it should with the Pending amount being added. So I have gone another 3 months without getting paid and Tapestri is actually lowering the amount of money in my wallet each month. Emails to support are being ignored. I simply want to get paid my $65 (I'm owed more than that since they keep stealing my pending amounts each month + they are lowering my payout amount). I would like to get my $65 and then I will happily delete this app. This company fell into some rough financial issues. They are still collecting user's data but they don't ever pay.Initial Complaint

This is an app that pays you for data and they keep taking money out of my account. Ive had this account for over a year and every time I get to where I should be able to cash out they pull money out of your account so I cant and this is been going on for months and when I try to reach out to them, they wont respond back.Initial Complaint

I initially reached out to support on September 1st, 2023 because my payments had not been released since late May/early June 2023 when I initially signed up. They replied that payments would be released shortly. I have reached out to support twice (May ****** 2024) since with no response. I have been using the Tapestri app for quite a while and expected to receive a payout at the beginning of June. Per their policy, once your account reaches $65, a payout will be sent on the last day of the month (screenshot of this policy attached). I sent a message to their support email address on June 10 to inquire as to why I hadn't received my payout. I got a reply saying they would get back to me within 2 weeks. I have sent 5 additional messages since that time because I've NEVER heard anything back and still have not received my payout, which is now at $86. In March, my Tapestri app was supposed to pay my *********** account over $80. It hasnt and I have been emailing them for months. I only got 1 human email response saying were aware and working on it and you should have a resolution in 2 weeksThat was over a month ago. I am filing a complaint against Tapestri, a data collection app, regarding their inconsistent payment practices. Over the past two years, Tapestri has repeatedly changed the thresholds and deadlines for user payouts.Currently, ********************** claims to send payments via Stripe on the last day of the month, minus transaction fees, once a user reaches a minimum threshold of $65. However, this information appears to be inaccurate.In May 2024, I surpassed the $65 threshold. Despite meeting the supposed criteria, I have not received any payment from Tapestri since 2022. This is a clear violation of their stated policy and raises concerns about the legitimacy of their payout system.Request:I request the Better Business Bureau to investigate Tapestri's payout practices. I still have not been paid for at least $85 USD for 2 months and all my support tickets go unanswered. I have reported the app on the app store as a scam, but this app should be removed and taken down. They are profiting of our data without payout.Initial Complaint

When I first downloaded the app it was supposed to pay out when you reach $25 when I reach $25 they change the payout amount to $65. I have reached $65 and there was no payout as promised I contacted them and they basically said Im on a list to be paid. This is absolutely asinine. Theyre taking my information and not paying me as promised. They are not providing the service that they promised when I joined and signed on this is fraud and theft, and I want a resolution immediately.I was told I was on a list to be paid and I have heard nothing since then.
