I bought a 2016 Volkswagen Passat with 87,000 miles through Jeremy in June of 2023 at this location and loved the car. However, 16 months and 14,000 miles later, I turned the car on and the engine started shaking along with a rapid fluctuating rpm while in idle. I took it to a repair shop in St Louis, where my car was diagnosed with a blown 4th cylinder which contained a visible piston that was missing pieces. After diagnosis, I spoke with the service department at this dealership where I was told no warranties were purchased, and therefore nothing could be done to fix the vehicle. In addition to this now worthless car, the car started rapidly running through oil with no external leaks merely 4 months after I purchased it. The repair shop I used for diagnosis, then replaced the crank ventilation value for $700. When I purchased the car, I was told it was the “owners daughter’s car.” However, after public research, the owner doesn’t even have a daughter. Words can’t express the emotions this has caused me, as I am roughly $15,000 in the hole on a car that stopped working less than a year and half later, while maintaining safe driving habits.

Caleb, you purchased a 7-year-old vehicle and opted against the available vehicle service contract, knowing there would be no coverage on your vehicle. You drove the vehicle for well over a year and are now experiencing issues with the vehicle? We will not accept culpability for a mechanical issue on an 8-year-old vehicle you purchased over a year ago.

The worst experience buying a ******* dollar corvette. Salesman and manager only give a s*** about s******* the customer as much as they could. Ripped me off on my beautiful cars that i traded in, a 2023 C8 70th Anniversary Stingray and a 2017 S63 AMG ************** Lying about interest rate, lying about how many months loan was for. We had talked about 72 and as i started to sign paperwork found out it was for 84 months. By then i was confused and wanted the new Z06 so much. Also never spoke to me about ************* untill the financing officer mentioned it. Again so far into the process no way to turn back. Felt lied to and taken advantage of. Should have known better but people should worry about customer service and REPEAT BUSINESS and not only one time s******* a customer

I have brought my car in for service three times and told them I had a squeaking issue going on for awhile. They couldnt find anything. On the second time when I drove into service they heard it immediately and said that it was coming from the back, but when I picked it up and drove it for 3 days it immediately came back. I brought it back a month later and the service advisor told me their notes about the squeak said unable to duplicate so they hadnt addressed the squeak or done anything to fix it when I had brought it in the first or second time even though they had said they heard it when Id arrived. I left my car with them since they told me itd take a day or so to figure out and an additional analysis fee. On the 3rd day, they told me it would be $700 to replace 2 break pads and rotors. It took 3 trips for them to find 2 bad breaks. I was frustrated by the time and money spent and not being able to reach anyone in service - I would call and be bounced around the phone tree, sent to voicemail - when I finally reached ****, he wouldnt explain why it took so long to find issues with the breaks, which are assessed in every service analysis. He instead just said he didnt know if we were getting anywhere and if I wanted to get my car or not. When I said Ill get my car, he hung up on me.

****, after reviewing your service history, it appears that your service diagnosis and experience certainly fell short of the high expectations we strive to achieve. I certainly understand and sympathize with your frustration. After speaking with our service advisor, he recognized that his demeanor was out of character, to which he apologized for. Understanding that the necessary repairs were ultimately diagnosed, we understand that you elected to take your business elsewhere. Once again, your experience fell short of our expectations & for this, we sincerely apologize. We are hopeful that we can regain your trust in the future.

Went in for transmission issues. Was quoted for a new transmission to the cost of $7500. Spoke with ****** the service writer over the phone and was told that the only way they could make the bill cheaper was to see if they could install a used or rebuilt transmission but they wouldnt guarantee the work. She said with the new transmission, it would have a 3 year/unlimited mile warranty. Being that I plan on driving this car for at least a dozen more years, I opted for the NEW transmission. Came in Wednesday to Pick up and pay for the truck and upon looking at my receipt, they had installed a remanufactured transmission. This wasnt authorized by me to have a REMANUFACTURED transmission installed. I signed paperwork for a new transmission. I was quoted $5600 at AAMCO to do install a remanufactured transmission with the same warranty. I feel as though I was ripped off and mislead by this dealer. This is my 7th ***** from an dealer and I can promise you that I will never return to this dealer for service or to purchase anything from them. I will also post on every review site of my experience as to make sure my friends and friends of friends dont patronize this establishment. Classic bait and switch. The best part is the service writer ****** wont even escalate this issue to her managers attention. I was ripped off by this dealer who refuses to address these concerns. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

********************* does not offer "new" transmissions for 2017 - 2019 Silverado trucks. The remanufactured transmission you purchased is covered under a 3 yr/unlimited mile warranty. The transmission you were quoted from Aamco offers a 3yr/36k warranty, for an additional charge. The hourly rate at Aamco is also less than the hourly rate for certified dealers. The service advisor suggested that you reach out to various shops prior to committing to have the work performed at ********* Chervrolet. After reviewing written communication between you and the advisor, at no time was a "new" transmission offered. The managers were involved in every step of the process regarding your concern.
