  I placed an order for a holster and when I received it I realized that it was not for the firearm that I own. The seal was broken on the box when I received it but I didn't think that would matter. I created an *** the same day and shipped it out the next day. I was hit with a 17% restocking fee. I told them that I didn't use it did not install it, but the package seal was broken but they said I should have said this in the *** and that's why I am paying the price of someone else's mistake. Terrible business practices and will not recommend this place to anyone!

  It's unfortunate that most people only leave reviews when something goes wrong so here goes. I've purchased a lot of products (17 orders in total) from optics planet for a little over a year now since placing my first order and every once in a while something gets delayed like a handguard I had to wait on, I reordered another identical one, also waiting on the second one too but that's alright. I completely understand that's on the manufacturer to produce another, not optics planets fault so I'm not going to bash them for it. 99% of my 17 different orders the items have arrived within a week, sometimes two weeks to *********** ******** using their super saving shipping. I've bought everything from Red dot sights, magnifiers, scopes, a DSI complete upper on sale, handguards, triggers, Ambi safeties, fortis buffer extension castle nut lock assemblies, a bunch of ************** parts like their silent captured buffers, low mass and variable mass bolt carriers, some superlative arms adjustable gas blocks, a bunch of 10 Rd magazines, sig ***** range finder, a bunch of tools like fix it sticks and ar small parts and accessories, most recent was 4 ***** OverMolded stocks and locks for them to make them NY compliant. I will continue to buy from them whenever I need something, their prices are fantastic. One thing I've learned about the firearm industry is to be patient, this isn't Amazon where it might show up in a day or two. It's the same from every other online retailer I've purchased from. If you're in a rush, find it locally or call and confirm it's available so you don't have to worry about it.

  Thier system auto populated an old address even though was removed from their system months before the order. One order shipped to the right address the next order was shipped to the old address. **************** would not fix this, so I was stuck with the bill and do not receive the product. I checked my account and verified my address was correct and it was ********** careful to check our orders carefully their system can be a problem. **************** was not willing to help. You'll be better off shopping elsewhere.

  Shipping is not the only problem of this website. Packaging is subpar and so dirty inside out, all shotshells scattered in the box... that's normal for them.They sent me both defective and wrong products for 2 times and the customer service is the worst I've experience. Basically punish customers for their own mistakes and postpone refund deliberatelly. They want you exhausted. Hope you guys never need to call them to make things right.Feel my money stolen by the company and they are totally fine with that. This company doesn't respect the customers.

  Paid $165 for overnight shipping, only to have it delayed. They offered a whole $52 shipping refund. Now I am out $113 and will not get this item in time for what it was intended for.

  They sent an item to an address that isn't on file. They told me then to call the person who lives there as if I have their number. Unbelievable.

  They sell products that say they are new and when you receive the product it is used and not complete as described in the description of the product. Alis they will net give you a refund. BUYER BEWARE.

  Optics Planet cannot be trusted. They claim on their website that they are an authorized dealer for all the products they sell. I was interested in ********. They have many new Fuji cameras and lenses listed on their website, interestingly for higher prices than suggested retail with "discounts" that brings it back to the suggested retail. I did not see their name listed at ****'s website for authorized dealers. I then emailed ************ and they confirmed that Optics Planet is not an authorized dealer. That means the buyer will not have a manufacturer warranty. What other products are they selling new as an unauthorized dealer? On top of that, Optics Planet is F rated with the BBB but their "About Us" page on their website deceitfully displays a BBB Accredited Logo with an A+ rating.

  I had a frustrating experience with OpticsPlanet. There was a miscommunication with the shipping address, and despite calling with two days notice to fix the issue, they failed to contact *** to resolve it. To make up for the inconvenience, they offered a $25 gift certificate, but since the item had already been price-matched with another site, this was the best they could do. Disappointing customer service and lack of follow-through.
