    My sister in law was lied to about her trip to ***** until the day before her flight was set to leave she said a group is after her and shes dealing with court proceedings so she cannot do business out of the country currently and shes really sorry but in the future the ***** trip will eventually happen. My sister in law didnt like how unprofessional her timing and communication was and also news reports of her being a fraud so she requested her full refund totaling in over $1000 which she still hasnt received. So same week being this weekend we have a family trip planned with her scheduled to check in tomorrow for the weekend at *********** party of 10 for $680 at a ************ Villa we all were ready to leave tomorrow and she let my sister in law know last minute again that her accounts were frozen and she couldnt book the resort for us this was supposed to be booked several days in advance why are we having to hound her down less than 24hrs before our promised check in time! My sister in law has her receipts for those trips that we were deceived and committed fraud against by this ************************* person claiming to be a travel agent at M&M Events and Promotions. And I have a paid in full trip with her as well for $500 for ********* ***************** for October 9th for my birthday weekend I want my money back for my trip. I feel like at this point we need compensation from her aswell for emotional distress. She ruined our entire weekend plans she robbed us and still has the nerve to keep lying to us about it saying we are her vip clients.

    ******* promised me a great deal on a vacation to ***** on Feb 8th 2023. She spoke over the phone of the prices and payments. She has a ************** where she promotes these vacations called M&M Events and Promotions. She has recently also been reported on to the ******** Police Station and CBS and WGN both posted investigation stories against her. She claimed to have booked my trip for my family as advertised but we never got flight information, which was supposed to be included in the package as well. She never gave me any flight info and told me to secure my trip, I had to pay through Paypal and *****, as she claimed that the transactions were never received. The money was taken from both my Paypal account and my Zelle account. I reached out to both Paypal and my personal bank who told me the money was recieved by *************************. Due to the lack of communication in my itinerary, I asked for a refund based on the negative experience from this transaction. She denied my request for a refund and shut off the phone number she gave me, making it impossible to contact her. I filed a dispute through my credit card for Paypal but have been unable to get a refund for the Zelle transaction. She was paid in good faith. I know based off the news stories, I am not the only person ******* has done this to. She knows that she is scamming honest people and continues to come up with excuses as to why things went wrong in vacation bookings. She never accepts responsibility and only the families who have contacted the news are getting their money back. There are several police reports filed against her and her business has other reviews on the Better Business Bureau of others who she has done this to. She needs to be imprisoned for her scamming. She needs to return the $750 she stole from me and she needs to return all of the money to all of these clients who she has harmed.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I was never made aware of this "refund policy" and many others had the same experience. I was told numerous lies and many times that I would be refunded and then when I tried to contact her, she conveniently disconnected her phone number! I have her refund promises via text, as do many others. Yes, I won the dispute for a partial refund from Paypal but am still missing money she stole from me via Zelle, which she told me she would refund. ****** does not refund customers for no reason, and her Paypal account was shut down due to numerous disputes against her for failed services. I would like to refer you to the news articles posted about ************************* and her fraudulent activities. You can see these on CBS and WGN, links are attached below. She conveniently can not answer simple questions, tells several customers the same lies and changes the spelling of her name. She has multiple aliases and has filed for bankruptcy several times. I do not understand how she continues to get away with stealing money from hardworking and honest people. And if anyone reading this has been impacted by *******'s lies and scamming, PLEASE contact the ************************** to file a police report, phone number and address is attached below. You can call and speak with them about *******. They have numerous reports filed thus far regarding ******* and her business, M&M Events and Promotions. I don't want anyone else to have the same experience or be scammed out of their money as I and so many others were. I want my money back and everyone Maysoon stole from needs to have their money returned.

    I am rejecting this response because: I have not received my refund of $750 dollars from Maysoon. She continues to falsify her business and steal by deception. I want my money back. My accusations against Maysoon are 100 percent correct!  ******* is currently being charged with numerous felony counts by the ********  Attorney General. She was arrested by the ************************** around August 6th,2023 for fraud and identity theft. I was never made aware of any refund policy!!! ******* continues to repeatedly lie. ******* also disconnected her phone after I won my credit card dispute against her. Maysoon still owes me $750 from a Zelle payment made to her for the vacation that I did not receive. I have all transactions and text messages to verify.

    I purchased a vacation package thru m&m events and promotions. I made the purchase on 2/28/23. I dealt with the owner *************************. I paid $2395 by *****. I never received a receipt or anything for the purchase so I cancelled it within 2 days. She said shed give me a full refund. I received a bad check from her may 1 which was postdated to may 15th. When I tried to cash it on may 15th the bank advised me they couldnt cash it and also advised I didnt deposit it in my own account either. They couldnt give me any further information. *** been actively contacting maysoon and she does respond but she keeps giving me excuses and reasons for the delay of the payment. I recently saw a ******** scam notice about her and her company and ** now concerned shes scammed me out of this money. I would just like a refund of my $2395

    I was promised a cash refund. Ive attached proof including a check from ************************* that I was unable to cash at her bank. Shes now referring to a refund policy that was not in place at the time of our original deal back in march of 2023. Also I was never issued a credit for the $2395 as she states in her response. Thats a complete lie. There are many complaints against this business for the same issues. At this time I would like a complete cash refund as promised.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I received a partial refund on a credit card due to having fraud insurance. The $2395 was promised to me because of knowing this woman. I was also never offered a refund credit. Thats an absolute lie. I received nothing from her. No receipts, no confirmations, no credit. I have proof in the form of a check that wouldnt clear and also in writing from her that she would refund the cash. Now shes throwing in a refund policy that was not in affect at the time. She has been on channel 2 news for fraud recently and shes also being investigated by the ************************** as well as the attorney general. Theres many claims against her now and Im not understanding why this process has been so difficult. I cant seem to attach my proof but i Can sent it by email

    I sent Maysoon via Zelle $1300 for a promotion vacation package. I have had many back and forth conversations and emails to get a confirmation as well as details of the package that I purchased to no avail. I was given the runaround. When I asked for a refund, at first I was told it would take 10 business days. Then when the 10 days came and went I reached out. I was then told a refund was not possible. I could only get credit for another promotion. I did not want credit and since I was not given the choice to cancel, I left it at that. When the time came for me to get the details and book my vacation, I was then told my trip was canceled. This company conducts itself with poor communication, and blatant deception. I would like my monies refunded to me. Trust is lost and I am tired of the run around.

I am seeking your assistance in resolving this matter and obtaining a refund for a trip to *********** that I paid for but never received.On June 30, 2022, I transferred $600 via Zelle to *************************, who is associated with M and M Events and Promotions. The payment was made for a trip scheduled to take place from February 15 to February 20, 2023 as communicated by **************. However, despite several attempts to obtain trip details from her, she failed to provide any additional information other than the dates.Since then, ************** has ignored my messages and refused to respond to my requests for a refund. I have made numerous attempts to contact her, but she has chosen not to address the situation or fulfill the service she initially promised.Enclosed with this letter, you will find copies of all the text communications I had with ************** prior to making the Zelle payment, as well as a copy of the Zelle transaction itself.It is important to note that I trusted ************** and M and M Events and Promotions based on the positive experiences my friend had with her in the past. Unfortunately, it seems that ************** has engaged in fraudulent activities, and her actions have affected not only me but also a group of individuals who placed their trust in her.I kindly request your intervention in this matter and ask for your assistance in helping me obtain a refund of the $600 I paid for the *********** trip.     I booked an all inclusive trip with Maysoon owner of ***** events and promotions. I paid via zelle $2750 for a Cancn trip for 4 people on October 2022. My trip was suppose take place on January 1st 2023. I kept asking ******* for my itinerary various times leading up to my trip. I was always given a different dates and then told it was standby which was never initially disclosed and I was deceived. The day prior to my travel date Maysoon notified me she was closing her business and her lawyers didnt permit her booking my trip and it was cancelled. When I asked my my refund she apologized and promised me a free trip. I declined and said all I want is my refund. I was told it would be 14 days, then a month, and kept getting different dates month after month. When I let Maysoon know that I would need to file a claim she responded with shes not denying me my refund. Yet I do not receive my refund. Maysoon has stopped answering my text messages and has blocked me. The last tentative date I was given was March 6th. When I didnt receive my refund I emailed Maysoon on March 12th since there was absolutely no follow up on her end. ******* did respond to my email and stated March 24 youll receive youll refund. When I asked why the delay she said her business had delays. I have reached out directly to ******* and have been patient but all I keep getting are more dates and lies. In one of our exchanges she also states I will personally reimburse you and sorry. But then when I follow up she says she cant. I just want my money back for a service I wasnt provided. Further more Maysoon is still selling to people via ******** and deceiving clients. I do not believe I will be getting my refund on 3/24 since this has been the 6th time I get a date with no true refund. I am willing to close this case and will close but need refund to be processed and not a tentative date which is the only thing ******* responds to. I have included all text and email exchanges.

However it is 4/2 and I have not received any information about the refund since I was told it would be in 3/24. Furthermore I tried to reach out directly to ******* and she said I would have to go through the BBB but I still havent receive my refund. All Maysoon provides me with is false commitments and dates.

    Good Evening,

    I submitted a complaint (#********) on December 9, 2022.  Unfortunately, due to the holidays, I had not reviewed my e-mails until yesterday and realized that my complaint had been closed.  I would like to reopen my case in an attempt to resolve this matter with ************************* using BBB Dispute Resolution Processes.

    In an e-mail dated December 20, 2022, ************** stated that she would issue me a refund of $1,300 on December 30, 2022.   A refund was not issued on December 30, 2022.   I reached out to her through Messenger at 11:28 am on December 30, 2022 (as her phone is disconnected and she has not provided me with her new current phone number)  to ask if I should expect my refund via Zelle.    In an email, ************** responded back at 5:27 pm.  - "I will provide you an update with the business refund closure plan in a few days".   I have not heard back from her since that day.

    Attached please find copies of all messages, texts, and e-mail correspondence between ************** and myself.  If you have any questions, I can be reached at ***************.  Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

    This is my response to the additional information that was submitted by ******************************************** 

    As she mentioned, I emailed her  notifying her that she would be getting an email of the business refund plan. 

    What is concerning (please refer to my previous response) is that she sent a complaint to the BBB before requesting a refund from me. 
    Why? 

    I sent an email directly to her notifying her that I would let her know of the refund business plan. 

    I am trying to respond to her complaint but I do not know exactly what the complaint is.

    I am rejecting this response because: I will continue to reject her response until I receive the refund.  I provided my address in an effort to be included in her refund plan.   The business owner ************************* initially  agreed to pay me on December 30th, 2022.  I did not receive the refund.  Subsequently, a refund was promised in February.   I did not receive the refund.   Earlier today, ************** wrote that I am now included in her refund plan and should expect my refund of $1,300.00 some time in April.
