I bought a 18K GOLD ring at Merry Richards Jewelers on date. 02/25/23. 8 months passed and the ring began to rust. I went to the jewelry store on November 9th and the manager opened the door for me, I explained what was going on while I held the ring in one hand and my purchase receipt in the other hand. He told me that he shouldn't let myself go and that I looked like a person he couldn't trust. I was very offended, as I was his client. In the end, he let me in but only looked at the ring for a moment, and he told me that it was gold and that it had a lifetime warranty. I went back to the store on Saturday, November 11th and was attended by the manager's son, *****. He told me they were going to keep the ring and on Monday they would give me an answer. On Monday, I called them and they told me that they could polish the ring if I wanted and that I should go with them to another store to do a test of the ring. I didn't want to go, nor did I want them to polish the ring, I just wanted my money back, but they didn't accept and gave me no choice. I went with ***** on Saturday, November 18th to a store near Merry Richards to test the ring. When tested, the ring was made up of several metals, it was not 100% 18K gold. He also had silver, copper, and other metals. ***** and the shopkeeper said it was gold and gave me the ring back. They didnt give me my money back.

We appreciate your feedback, Yanuris. We want to clarify that the 18k gold Tacori ring you purchased from us is indeed made of 18k gold, which, by definition, contains other metals, making it not 100% gold. This composition is standard for 18k gold jewelry.
The issue you raised about the gold content is addressed by the fact that 18k gold is a blend of gold and other metals, and the ring may require occasional polishing, covered under our lifetime warranty.
To ensure the accuracy of our product, we even took the ring to a reputable store, Americash Coins, which employs a $30,000 gold detector. The result confirmed that the ring is, indeed, 18k gold. We value transparency and strive to provide quality products.
If there are any doubts about the authenticity of the gold, it would be appropriate to direct those concerns to Tacori, the renowned company that manufactures the ring. Our commitment is to offer genuine products, and we stand by the quality of the items we sell.
Regarding returns, we have a fair and flexible policy. We often ***** refunds within a reasonable timeframe, and our willingness to address concerns is evident in our track record. However, we cannot process returns based on claims that the gold is not genuine, especially when external testing validates its authenticity.
We would like to address your concern promptly. If you have specific issues with the ring, please feel free to reach out, and we'll do our best to assist you. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we hope to resolve any concerns you may have.
