Don't fall for their personalized service coupons for your Acura. I didn't buy my Acura from them, and as the other reviews warn, don't do ANY transactions with them or you will regret it. Full synthetic ************ change coupon for $69.95 was invoiced and printed out with a total of $78.08 with legit tax & shop fee. But Arlington Acura billed my credit card $80.42. Their mailed card with coupons, plus their appointment website that I used DOES NOT DISCLOSE that their advertised coupons cost is for cash only. If I'd known in advance, I could have brought cash.

***** this dealership. They play games and waste your time. I did my best to buy a car from them, and they explicitly chose to discriminate against me because I don't live in Palatine. I even offered to pay for a down payment, and they came up with excuses how deposits aren't fair to other customers. I have read through these reviews and see that I am not alone. Arlington Acura gives their profession a bad name. The crazy things is: every complaint they receive, they say they sincerely apologize. However because that is their solution for every one of their complaints, their words are meaningless.

The worst dealer sells you cars and does not specify the interest rates, the vehicle is supposedly approved and after 4 days they call you to tell you that you have to bring more *********** or return the vehicle. When you get there to return the vehicle they tell you that it was always approved, then you ask for your *********** back and they stain your credit history because they reported that the vehicle was not paid and they had to take it away from you, which is not true, now I can't have any vehicle because of this. Thank you! Terrible

I purchased a vehicle over the summer. It started having issues after the 1st few weeks so I decided to return the vehicle after several attempts to get it repaired. At the end of September I traded the vehicle in for a different vehicle. It was some red flags which I should have paid more attention to. Here it is 3 months later, hundreds of phone calls voice mails, harassing phone calls from the previous financial company. The traded in vehicle is still NOT paid off. My credit report is dropping from missed payments on a vehicle I no longer own. I'm so distressed. I even emailed the ** and still no response. Worst dealership ever. And this is just to sum it up.

Went in to trade my RDX for an MDX that was advertised via the internet as $28,500. They valued my trade at $20,000 and then came back and told me they gave me an extra $500 for it ($20,500, which later they told me was a mistake- we only ended up getting $12,020). They said they would give me floormats and a chrome bumper guard to make up the difference, which we have yet to see (and probably never will). They **** up the paperwork and had me sign it all on an iPad without seeing line items. I went home to look at the paper work and all of a sudden the sticker price of the car was $29,495 plus an additional $8K in "Dealer installed Options or Services".The extra $995 was a reconditioning fee, Xzilon Appearance Protection $1,295 and finally $499 for a Recover GPS (which isnt even in my car)- the list goes on for extra tire protection and warranties. When we went back into question them, they told us that we had to buy the extra items totaling $2,789 (which in turn made the price of the vehicle $31,289 plus tag, tax, title). They absolutely refused to take those services off of the car. Furthermore, they told me if I were to start taking the line items off the car my interest rate would go from **** to **** and the fees would keep getting higher in price due to a "fixed bundle" and the fact that the car was now certified. This dealership seems to know that they are false advertising and conducting a non-transparent business. In the end, I ended up financing an extra $6,000. Even when we went back to complain multiple times, they moved the numbers around but would not budge off the price of those three services totally an extra $2,789.00. The car the was advertised at $28,500 should have been advertised at $31,289 and those options should have been disclosed before we signed on the dotted line.

This dealership should not be permitted to sell cars. There is clear evidence of bait and switch for the email correspondence I received for the lease of the Acura TLX I am attempting to purchase. When confronted no one from the dealership has contacted me to finalize the deal. There were numerous emails and texts initially but when I mentioned the email I received stating a $349/mo. payment for 36 months with an initial deposit of $3,999.These are a bunch of spineless and crass business people that should be avoided at ALL COSTS.If you are going to buy an Acura go somewhere else!!By the way, this was the 3rd purchase from this dealership.

Arlington Acura sold me a 2011 *** X6 that needed 3 separate engines. They refused to repurchase the car after the 3rd engine. I tried to purchase a new Acura from them and they did not want to sell me a car. I went to ******* Acura and purchased the lemon that Arlington Acura sold me. And I purchased a new Acura from ******* Acura. This all took place over the course of 16 months. The sales team at Arlington Acura are racist and liars. I got a totally different experience with ******* Acura. They sold me a car and I was totally finished with the process within two hours. I literally begged the managers to sell me a car that i had been paying a note and insurance on but, they had already established that THEY WOULD NOT SELL ME A CAR I PRAY FOR PEOPLE LIKE THESE. BEWARE..

A $995 reconditioning fee was added that they said they couldnt waive. Also a $1995 value shield that I didnt want, they said I could not removed because I was paying cash. They refused to sell me the car for the listed price on the website with the standard fees and sales tax.

They add unnecessary fees, lie in order to build a sense of urgency to get you to buy sooner so they dont need to drop the price further, and try to tell you how much money they are losing on a car to make you think its a fantastic deal, which in my case, two different people told me different numbers and they really should be getting their story straight if they want to use this sales tactic. They also advertise their prices very low on websites to get you to walk in the door, then they add thousands of dollars in fees to the final price. They also false advertise their cars and when confronted about it they say "its a third party doing it, not our fault. Stay away from this dealership, very disappointing that a dealerships sales practices can be this degenerate and yet people still give them business.

AVOID- I sold my car to this dealership 2 weeks ago. They were to pay off my loan and then pay me the balance via check within 3 days. I STILL have not recieved a ***** for my car, and they have not paid off my loan. I had another car payment for this month deducted yesterday. I called to see what the issue was and got a weird excuse. Legally the title is still in my name, I am still paying for the car and they have NOT paid me. I asked if my car was still on the lot, they said they already sold it. HOW YOU DO NOT HAVE THE ****** This unethical and illegal. They sold a car that they did not pay me for, nor do they have the title.
