I ordered the $5 for 30 days car wash on line and it said that a code would be sent to my email address. I never received an email or a code and the site said when I went to cancel the service that no account could be found under the information I put in . Also the money was deducted on the day I signed up for the service.Business Response

Cancelled my membership 3 times. Still getting charged each month even though I’ve called them 5 times and they ask for my name and number and say a manger will get back to me but never does.Business Response

There are two accounts (both at Rainstorm Peoria Allen) under the name ***** ****** (screenshot attached).
One account has been inactive for a year and a half (barcode *****+******). The second account (barcode *****+******) has been successfully canceled and a confirmation email was sent on 10:43 am, Dec 4, 2023 (screenshot attached).
It appears as though a downsell retention offer was accepted on November 16th (email sent on 12:30 pm, Nov 16, 2023) while at the same time a cancellation request was also submitted (email sent on 12:30 pm, Nov 16, 2023). The customer was then charged again on 12/2/2023 for $16.50.
Please send an email to **************************** so we can connect you with the site manager to explain the situation and see if the $16.50 refund is possible. Since the customer submitted a retention offer and a cancellation request at the same time, the retention offer was honored and the card was processed in December for the next month of service.

I went to Rainstorm Carwash on 5/30/2023 between 4:35-4:50pm. The gate fell on my brand new vehicle and caused damage. There is a dent, paint marks and chipped paint on my vehicle. I spoke to the manager and filed an incident report but have not heard anything. My vehicle is brand new, not even a month old, and looks like garbage due to their negligence. My 2019 ram hemi bed cover was damaged inside the car wash and the worker took pics and made me fill out incident report and was told the district manager will contact me and been calling and no resolution to this matter. This car wash business offers a "Fast Pass" a monthly fee providing use of the car wash any time during that month. I had a Fast Pass for a long time and had no problems it was $22.00 per month. I no longer frequent East Dundee and hadn't used the pass for a couple of months. I used it in November, 2022. They have the exact date. After going through the car wash I stopped in to the office and cancelled my Fast Pass and he took care of it right then and there at the computer. I have been charged for 3 more months, automatically deducted from my credit card. I called the manager and explained that I had cancelled it and wanted my money back for December. Nothing happened, I was then subsequently charged again in January and February, 2023. I called the manager and told him this is continuing to happen and I was pretty upset. A District Manager called me and told me he'd resolve the issue and refund me the $66.00 I haven't received any refund yet and now it's been about a month since the phone call.Initial Complaint

I have been a customer of this business (Empire locatiuon in Bloomington, IL) with a renewing membership. In January I purchased a new vehicle and was told I would need to cancel my old plan and start a new plan for the new vehicle as it was not tranferrable. I cancelled the plan via the online system approximately February 1. The plan auto renewed on Feb 19. ($40) Sometime around February 21 I called the location and asked for help cancelling the plan -- I did not request a refund as I thought perhaps I had made a mistake with the online system. I was told the plan would be cancelled but remain active until March 19 as it had already renewed. March 19 the plan auto drafted and renewed again. ($40) This was a Sunday and I called the location, an employee answered the phone, I explained my situation and asked for help in properly cancelling the plan and with a refund of the $40 it charged in March after I had cancelled over the phone in February. He told me he could help with cancelling the plan moving forward, but a refund would not likely happen because in his words "it's just the way it is". I asked for a manager but he said they are not in on Sunday, he said he would leave a message and I would be contacted by a manager the following week. I have yet to be contacted by a manager, I have reached out to the location multiple times in two weeks (more than 6) via phone and the phone has not been answered. I have also put in two requests for a manager to contact me via their contact us form on the business website. I have yet to receive a call back or a refund. I have been charged a total of $80 for services on a vehicle I do not own since my initial cancellation of the plan.Initial Complaint

I went to get a carwash at Rainstorm on 10/4/2022 at 7:52am Sale #***********. Apparently I accidently selected a car wash that is auto charged every month in the amount of $40.00, but the receipt I was given doesn't have any barcode or anything on it for me to be able to get more car washes for the money. I just threw the receipt in my wallet and didn't even look at it until I got home that day and immediately started trying to call the carwash to cancel. You also can't cancel on their website as it states on the receipt. I don't have the number they request on their website to cancel and the couple of times I have tried just putting in the sale # it states the website is being worked on, sorry for the inconvenience. I have tried repeatedly since October 4 to contact someone from the car wash, but the phone number listed on my credit card charge ************ is not in service, so you can't even contact someone to dispute or cancel. I also left a voicemail on the phone listed online ************ and no one ever returned my call. I do not live or work in Peoria and do not want more car washes than just the one I received that day. I filed a charge dispute with Goldman Sachs, my credit card company this morning. I just want the reoccurring charges to quit.
