      We recently moved and the yard at our old place helped to sell our house it was an excellent condition. Now we're in a much larger rural area we're getting different services in the lawn is improved.

      Our lawn was kind of a mess when we started service with Spring Green, but year after year it has improved. I appreciate their knowledge and attention to detail. Several homes on our street get their service and you can easily spot the ones that do.

      Love Spring Green! Great service and especially the knowledge from the owner down through his service people. The communication on each visit is great and I know what they did each time. Plus I pay once and get the full annual treatment and don't get nickeled and dimed about adding services that are standard with Spring Green unlike other companies. I feel good about buying from a locally owned company too. Love my lawn!

      I appreciate that my technician calls me ahead to insure I have the gate unlocked for all my applications. I have the preferred program and the weeds in the lawn, as well as crabgrass have been non-existent the last few years. When I started with Spring-Green 9 years ago I had a weedy mess but with the attention to detail from my technician Guillermo we have dialed it back in. I do enjoy the free service call feature that does allow me to contact them and have my technician return to answer any questions I may have or if a weed does arise between treatments they can hit them again. The price point and value to service provided by Spring-Green is exactly what I need for my lawn.

      Products - I have been plagued with crab grass and yellow nutsedge. I have called back the Service Techs repeatedly. On one revisit, the Service Tech (Damen or Darren?) stated that he was going to talk with the owner to see if there was a better product. This fall, I went to ******* and bought a spray canister and weed removal products and fixed it myself. Service - the service issue is with the office and management. On Nov 1 I called and talked with Shantell to see when the Fall Core Cultivation was to occur. She said that "I" had canceled the Fall Core Cultivation & Grub Control - which I had not. After further discussion, she said that the $380 credit that was applied to the invoice from Corporate was in error and that they (Spring Green) canceled the Fall Core Cultivation & Grub Control on their own. She said that they sent me an updated invoice - but I did not receive it. I explained that I have an invoice from Spring Green listing the services & commitments and that I paid the full invoiced price. At this point, she was not providing any assistance and I requested a call back from management. She said that Luke would call me by the end of week Nov 3. I never got a call back. On Nov 9 I called. Shantell said that Luke would call me back by the end of the day. I never got a call back. On Nov 15 I called. I asked for Luke's direct number and an update. Shantell said that she would call Luke and then return my call. After 10 minutes, she called and said that they were going to send someone out for the Fall Core Cultivation. This was completed the next day. I've read the website for SpringGreen and its commitment to service, etc... but there is a clear disconnect between words and actions. Furthermore, canceling a service contract without proper notification is bad business practice - almost a bait and switch. In my case, the products were insufficient and they wouldn't even return my phone calls.

      Spring Green Lawn, proprietor Luke, another reminder of why some things are best done yourself. Usually don’t do reviews, but here it goes and a report to BBB. Bad business/lack of communication/poor customer service. Prepaid for the “discount” in the Spring. After months of non communication and seeing my lawn, now full of weeds, I had to reach out and ask why? Luke “Manager/owner” returned my inquiry and said, sir we can’t get through to your home because of the resurfacing of **** avenue b/w ********* and ******** Roads. There are signs clearly posted for thru traffic, additionally human beings working to ask to pass, to which Luke and or his incompetent staff elected to do neither, nor the courtesy of a call to discuss. During this call, he offered an attitude worthy to share. Clearly, he thought it was appropriate to not communicate their difficulties in delivering the services and seemingly pocket the money and do nothing to deliver the service. When asked for a refund, he flat out declined. Use at your risk! Absolutely horrible experience all around. Flat out criminal behavior. Expensive lesson learned from a low quality individual. Touché Luke, one day I look forward to seeing you in the commitment report.

      We have used their service for a number of years. We have always asked they knock on the door and let us know what application they are doing to confirm whether or not we want it. They always knocked in the past but they haven't been knocking in 2022 and just doing the application and leaving an invoice. We just experienced an entire week with temperatures in the 90's and they applied fertilizer (grass was brown within a day after application) and grub control (which we didn't want) and left an invoice for $135. I called to talk with someone and they claimed we had a contract for services. I explained I've never signed a contract. They claimed it was a verbal contract. I've never given verbal permission to apply whatever service they want and I said the tech doesn't even talk to us, he just applies, invoices and leaves. I asked if they wanted my business and the guy just kept saying we have a verbal agreement. I told them to never come to my home again.

      Mr S****, I am sorry there has been some sort of misunderstanding in regards to scheduled services. Looking at your account history we have applied the same number of applications including the grub control to your lawn since 2016. Each winter we send out 2 letters to our customers offering a prepay discount and outlining the planned program and cost for the coming season. Allowing our customers the opportunity to make any changes they wish. I apologize if you feel somehow the application damaged your lawn and would be happy to have our service manager inspect and repair if needed. please contact our office so we can work with you to better resolve this problem.       It's not a misunderstanding. I have invoices that show the person is supposed to knock and ask before applying. We don't sign up for the annual service discount because we don't want all the service's. The guy I spoke with after I called and complained tried to act like we had a contract. We don't. Then he implied a verbal contract. We don't. I'm done with them. I asked him multiple times if he wanted my business and he wouldn't answer, only repeating "verbal contract". It's unethical and I'm done with them. They shouldn't be allowed to do this to others either.
