This was my first and LAST experience with a moving company! ABC Moving Systems are the worst company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. ****** is dismissive and non responsive to calls and text messages. I went through a 3rd Party to arrange my move from ** to ******** and was quoted $2195 per cuft. This cost me $800 more money than quoted... When the crew showed up with a 24ft U-Haul truck the lead *************** immediately said that the move was miss quoted and will go over- $3.00 per cuft... They crew broke items in my house and tried to hide it. They left trash all over my house. They left tools around my house after they left. They left parts of a bed and was not responsive for 3 days then finally came back to collect. In ******** they were unwilling to put the furniture back together THEY took apart in **. of course no money was given back for this horrible experience.Business Response

This move was 3 years ago. The customer did not make the reservation directly with us, but rather chose to reserve with a broker, and they are the ones who prepared the move. The quote stipulated the customer had approximately 50 items, and when we arrived to pick up his items, there were in fact more than 200 items to load. That was the main reason for the increase in the price. We provided a discount as much as we were able to. The customer was unwilling to pay for the extra space he required, and he was also unwilling to pay for the extra packing that he needed to protect his items from damage. Upon delivery, the customer refused to pay the balance payment for delivery and demanded the crew perform tasks they were not hired to do, which they of course refused. As for the damaged goods, the customer never went through our claims process. We never received any claim for damages that would trigger such process and thus conclude with possible compensations for damages as much as those may have occurred.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: the response is not accurate. I filed a claim immediately with the moving company. This complaint is been slow to respond of no fault of mine. If this is the way this company does business then I will take further action to let everyone know how you don't take care of your customers!

Your complaint was addressed according to the contract you signed with the brokerage. As we were assigned to your moving job after the fact we are required to respect and follow the terms and conditions you've originally signed. The claims company is a third party unbiased entity to make sure every customer will be dealt with in the outmost fair way. Your complaint was answered and addressed and we are sorry to hear you are unhappy with the results. The only resolution we can offer past this point is to get in touch with your original contractor and request to revisit your original agreement.
We are sorry you had a bad experience however, we have done everything possible to address your situation to the max.

I agreed to a contract with *************************** to move me for $4447.56. I provided a deposit of $1702. I was told they would deliver the 17th (************, their salesperson). They (ABC Moving Systems) did not pick up my goods until 5:30pm on the 18th. I made it clear to them I had to drive from ************** to *********** where I was going to stay before making the final trip to *****. I said I cannot drive at night due to vision problems. I ended up leaving at 4pm and having my son who is 20, deal with the movers. It took them 10 HOURS to load the truck. I got constant calls from my son saying they want him to sign a waiver, they were then going to charge me $75 for wrapping the 60" tv (which was shattered upon delivery), I refused to pay any additional money. I was harrassed and called crazy by the dispatcher, ****** **** moving services), and demanded I provide cash or Zelle upon delivery Sunday morning when I arrived in *****. I couldn't get cash nor could I get ***** fargo to authorize $3,302.84 to receive the furniture he was demanding. I had no idea where my furniture was at this point and he was holding up delivery until I paid cash or Zelle. I gave in on Monday because I wanted my furnishings! I got cash and video recorded it because I didn't trust these movers. By the way, after those guys picked up the furniture in **************, it was 3:30 in the morning when they finished and too late for my son to drive to *********** to meet me so he slept on the bare floor!! Upon delivery, I had a damaged $2,000 nightstand, and an $800 60" television. This has been the worst experience they are crooks including ******* Relocation. They're mean, ruthless, greedy and ultimately has cost me 2 nights at the hotel not one because I had no furniture in *****. Oh, they also charged my debit card $385.00 at the beginning because they assumed I was going to have more boxes! OMGBusiness Response

This move was about 2 years ago. The customer did not make the reservation directly with us, but rather chose to reserve with a broker, and they are the ones who prepared the move. The customer was informed on the phone that the delivery window was 3 days. She refused to pay the additional charges that were required and sign delivery documents, which delayed the pickup and delivery process. The customer was advised by the ********************** team that her TV requires professional packing to protect it. Because she refused to pay for that, the moving team reluctantly packed the TV with standard packing, which, as predicted, may have been the reason for the TV damage. As per the standard terms and conditions in the moving industry, the delivery payment is paid in cash or ***** transfer as this is the final payment. If paid with a different form of payment, the delivery payment is postponed until the payment is processed. There can be no delivery process with payment already processed. The customer never paid for the additional days of storage until the payment was processed and the delivery could take place. Once the customer completed the payment process the items were delivered to her way before the time frame specified in the terms and conditions (21 business days).Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:There incredibly incompetent. They will not accept payment the way I choose to make a payment. They overcharged me. They broke multiple pieces of furniture and have you looked at all of their reviews from other people that have used their services. They should be out of business. And I will take him to court if it reaches that level. Their bottom feeders of society.

Payments for the moving services are subject to the terms and conditions in the contract the customer signed and they dont change according to the customers preferences.

ABC Moving Systems was contracted on my behalf by ********** Movers based out of **********, **. They initially missed my pickup window - but eventually did arrive to pick up the items. That was on 7/30. They have refused to communicate properly or provide any update on the estimated delivery date of my items. One of the few times I did get **** (********) on the phone, he swore at me. They are also refusing to provide the address of the warehouse in *****************, ** they claim my property is being housed in. I need them to finish the job or pay out the estimated value of $20,000 for the items I can only assume they stole at this point.Business Response

In spite of any communication issues that accrued during the transportation process, your items were delivered within the legal delivery window.
As stipulated in the terms and conditions of the services you have signed with the broker company.
In addition, our team encountered communication issues on your side due to they had to delay a truck and a team over night (which we did not mentioned and didn't charge extra for).

This mover is suppose to pay me the $60 for the items broken. The claim was approved on 6/15/21 and since then it is almost 1 years chasing the owner of this company ****** ************ (cell phone) ************************************** and i wasted my several hours.I have not received the check in last 1 year. The customer called us many times and we advised her to go through the claims process. She indeed filed a complaint to the claims department. When she filed it she put her former address as a delivery address for the compensation check. So the check was in fact delivered but to the wrong address. and so got lost in the mail. She contacted us again and we advised her to just fill out the claim again, but this time with the right address. She did so, but this time she neglected to add a notary signature to the forms, and so the claim was impossible to process. Following that, we never heard from her again.Customer Answer

The check was sent to you as you requested to an address you've submitted wrongly. When you and the claims department figured what was cause=ing the delay we've requested of you to submit another request with the correct address. Without legally we are not able to send a new check. I am rejecting this response because:As this company has not fulfilled it's obligation by sending the check at the address provided. At the time when I signed "Settlement letter: on 11/20/21, I was at that address for 2 years. Sitting here in 2025 this company claims that the check was sent. I called the representative of the company in Jan 2022 that the check was never received and he told me that he will look in to that and never got back to me. Then he stopped picking my call. This issue should remain open in this circumstance till I get my check.
