I put down my deposit on April 29th I didn't go and buy my car till May 4th so the contract should still be good till the 4th but it states that I signed everything on the 29th which is why he told me not to sign the date when I was signing the papers on the contract he did give me an *** their general manager and the finance handler I was promised they would fix the dent in the door repaint all the paint that was color matched the wrong color I came from ******* which is a 1 hour drive there just so I spent two hours driving that day just to get told to go home I was there before they even opened and they're like no we can't do it today and they told me the night before to come in so I came the next day sat there for 6 hours and they didn't even take care of the one major part that I needed there was erosion in the paint on the hood and he finally did that but now my hood is fixed but the grill it's fiberglass so it looks like the guy put his knee against it and it broke it inwards because I can't pull it out I'd have to break it to fix it there was pieces falling out of it already breaking and it wasn't like that I work at a detail shop for a charter bus I know what it looks like I cleaned it before I took it in so they could see what was dust and what was mismatched paint I was promised another fob key which they said will happen under their conditions when they say so but I need it before the end of that 30 days where the *** is no longer valid and they won't take any of my text messages my calls my emails nobody's answering that the communication there is horrible they promise to fill up my tank when I came back they gave me a quarter tank they lost the only keychain I had on my keys which did mean something to me said they were going to fix it never did never bought me another one the car overall is good but not how it looked online I took it to the mechanic and he said it has lot rot. To this day I've been emailing them and I still haven't gotten a responseInitial Complaint

I was sold an LR4 on December 26, 2024. Soon after my rear brakes began squeaking very loudly. I had them repaired at ****** in *******, **. I was told the brake pads were virtually nonexistent and I should never have been sold a car in that condition due to how unsafe it was. The cost was $847. I requested a reimbursement from Exotic Motors since they should have checked the car thoroughly prior to selling it, and clearly did not. They have been extremely difficult to get ahold of. I have been hung up on and treated very poorly by the entire staff including the owners. They will only agree to reimburse me for $300. I was told I would be cut a check on Monday, May 13 and it would be overnighted. I still have not received a check. I called to inquire about it on May 17. I was hung up on, treated very badly, and no one will give me a straight answer. I have also been lied to about the fact that there is a girl who cuts the checks, when I am told that its only the owners. I am baffled as to what to do since I have been dealing with this for months now. The owners will not speak to me either. Not only is this extremely poor business practice, they are abusive, and sell unsafe vehicles. I would like to have a full reimbursement for my rear brakes. I am extremely concerned that this business does not care about the state of their vehicles or those they sell them to.Initial Complaint

On Wednesday May 1, 2024, I put down a $1000 deposit on a vehicle. They were obligated to make repairs to the vehicle before I would accept delivery. The repairs were never made. After multiple requests on Monday May 6, 2024, I was assured the refund was processed. It has not hit my credit card and multiple calls to the company go unanswered. A refundable deposit of $500 was put on a vehicle(2/23/24), after test driving the vehicle(2/26/23) I decided I did not want to move forward with purchasing the vehicle. I have followed up with Exotic Motors by phone multiple times and each time I am told I will be refunded, but they still have not refunded me as of 3/20/24 almost an entire month later.Initial Complaint

Entered into agreement to purchase a used 2013 Land Rover LR2 from Exotic Motors in ***************, ** on Aug 24, 2023. Agreed price was $15576.26. Provided seller with a $500 deposit to hold vehicle while being prepped. Balance of payment provided via bank transfer on Sep 20, 2023 and electronic sales documents signed. Vehicle was delivered to my home in VA on Oct 14, 2023. Vehicle condition is as expected for being used and not an issue.Problem is getting a physical copy of the vehicle title needed to re-title and register the vehicle in VA. Told title sent via ***** but was lost on Nov 8, 2023. Multiple requests for updates sent via email, text, phone on Nov 28, Dec 5, Dec 19, 2023 and Jan 8, Jan 9, ****. On Dec 5, 2023 dealership staff stated they were working on the issue. After Dec 5, 2023 dealership fell silent and has not replied to any inquiries. To date, no physical copy of vehicle title has been received and temporary tags are expiring leaving vehicle illegal to be on road in VA.Initial Complaint

Bought this car 10/27/23 and within 24 hours the check engine light came on. Was told by EXOTIC MOTORS that with the warranty to take it to any *** dealer and I did. Almost $13,000 worth of problems with the car Ive only had for one day. *** said that the car was sold with no catalytic converter and without it the warranty is voided and most likely EXOTIC MOTORS just deleted the check engine light temporarily. Brought the car back to EXOTIC MOTORS and was told the only thing wrong was the car was the 2 front tires were a different size than the rear. Wanted to return my car and cancel the purchase and was told no. No rental has been given whole time and car doesnt work. EXOTIC MOTORS knows my phone number and transfers me to a random line and no one picks up. Have gone in person and I dont get help. Before purchasing the car I asked the salesman if the car was stock and I was told yes. They lied to my face. I am financing ****** for this car and they dont seems to care. I told EXOTIC MOTORS I replaced the rear tires that were not the correct size for the car which was $680 and they said they can not refund me. $230 for a *** service appointment to check the light. I need help because I think that just because I am a girl I will let this slide. I have screenshots and proof they dont reach out after many many attempts. Thank youInitial Complaint

I initiated a vehicle purchase with exotic motors which required financing. After being approved for car loan, I did not finalize the purchase due to concerns with the dealership contract. I never took possession of the vehicle (2016 ****** 370z). On July 24th, 2023, I notified them I was no longer interested. However, the dealership processed the loan and was wired funds from the finance company (******************). I am being billed by Westlake for monthly payments. No o e at Exoctic motors is responding to calls, email, texts or voice mail.Business response

I bought a 2018 *** M3 from exotic motors on 5/10/2023. They delivered it to me in ****** at my home on 5/22/2023. The car came off the trailer with a check engine light on (I have video/photo evidence of this). I told them immediately. The car also had 174 more miles on it than the sales paperwork showed. This eats into what appears to be me reporting issues with the car before using it. It is a good thing I have proof of delivery mileage. Exotic motors also sold the car with (2) keys, and only (1) came with the car. They promptly said they would take care of everything and said to take the car to a reputable shop. The car was diagnosed with engine problems and will cost over $10k to fix. They asked if they could buy the car back. I agreed. They have dragged me on with back and fourth communication and broken promises for almost a month now, and they wont pay for any repairs, any diagnostic work, any additional keys, and they really wont commit to buying the car back. To be made whole, I need to be refunded for the whole car purchase, plus every dime I have spent on the car (which they recommended to have done to diagnose it).Initial Complaint

Purchased a vehicle March 14, 2023. Immediately upon leaving the facility a chassis error code popped up on the screen. I contacted the dealership and the ownership swore at me and told me to leave their establishment. I had several items in the *** section of the contract they refused to honor including fixing the chassis issue. Repeated attempts to contact with no luck. This establishment needs to be shut down immediately. Consumers are at risk.I had to take the vehicle to a service center where I was quoted several thousand dollars to repair. This business sold me a car that came damaged there are safety concerns to the vehicle to where its not safe for me to drive. I was promised 15 days with the car and I could take it back there was mechanical issues. Theres over 4k in damages when the car came. They told me to pay for some of the damages and to send them invoices and I would be reimbursed which I have in writing. They promised to take the car back due to it being a ****** within the 15 day time frame. Now they refuse to respond. Safety concerns!!! Im stuck with a car that is not safe to drive!! Help!
