      They are rude they talk to people so unprofessional Im so upset with this company i been going thru a financial situation but Im still making my payments they may be late but still making payments when I try to call them to figure out my options they dont care and are so rude and they basically tell you to pay it or get repo I have never had a place of business act to ghetto and unprofessional and the managers dont care this place should not be running they have no type of customer service skills

      Ive had my auto loan with Nationwide since August. The first 2 payments i did over the phone but the past 2 have been done by mail. There saying there getting them late because of the postal service. I could see 5 days but 10 days or more from when i drop it off every time i ridiculous. Then even if the postage stamped date is well within my limit to make my payment there still piling on late fees because its not there fault. Well its not my fault either. I know if i send a utility bill in by check its cashed and out of my account in 4 to 5 days. Then from the due date on while my checks in the mail they call me and my fiances phone non stop. Ive never not made my payment. There ppl are horrible and rude and demand access to my bank account. Sorry. Im in the process of getting an equity loan just to pay the car off and get away from them. Horrible horrible company. In the future if somebody ever mentions them as the lender i will walk away from the deal.

While we agree with the consumer that 10 days to deliver mail from his state to our *********** Box should take an average of less than 5-days, we cannot speak on behalf of the US ************** as to why the consumers payment is not reaching us sooner. There are other payment options available, such as a free voluntary monthly automatic deduction. We would be happy to discuss this further with the consumer.       This company is terrible so far. Financed a vehicle with them back in November. I was approved and drove off the lot that day. However, the approval process had just begun and would take several weeks of nonstop phone calls during working hours when I can not answer. Rude csr agents with foul language wouldn't give me any info. Refused payment so paid the car lot to keep it from being repossed as per threats from NW reps. **** I find out through my credit reporting alerts they have hard pulled my credit without my authorization as late as Feb 9th. They are listed twice on my credit report once as Nationwide with the ********** ** address as well as NSE AL S/I FINAL WO in ****** ** which rents offices by the day. I'm leaving in moments to head to my credit union to refinance the car out of the hands of a shady company. I would not recommend this finance company to any potential car buyers.

      Our records show that while the consumer purchased her vehicle in November 2022 and we received a credit application on 11/5/22, call records reflect that we called her cell phone a total of four times, only leaving messages. There were no telephone calls showing to the employer. We were primarily communicating with the dealership she purchased her vehicle from requesting underwriting documents that had not been provided. Not receiving them, the contract was not purchased/financed and her contract was returned to the dealership 11/29/22. On 1/5/23, we received a second credit application to finance her vehicle which was approved and financed on 1/6/23. As the credit applications were more than 30-days apart, another credit report was required as part of our due diligence. Review of telephone calls logged to the employer telephone after the second credit application show a total of three outbound calls were made on 1/6/23, two of which messages were left. Review of the one recording captured does not support that foul language was used by the Nationwide representative. Regarding the consumer wanting to pay, when the consumer telephoned our office on 12/2/22, there was no record of an account found as we had not purchased her contract at that time and the reason why we could not take her payment. Please note that upon review of the recorded call listened to, the consumer called the Nationwide representative a repugnant and disgusting name and the representative ended the call. Moreover, Nationwide would not and could not pursue repossession prior to purchasing the contract. Regarding the credit bureau and two tradelines, we would need to see a copy of this from the consumer so that we can properly correct any erroneous reporting. The consumer may send a copy of her redacted report showing the two Nationwide tradelines and removing any personal information to ************************************** who can further investigate this claim and if erroneous information is found, we will remove it.

      i was a vicim of ID Theft and they worked with me to get my new truck this is amazing company and i would recommend this company to anyone no other company was willing to help me and they got me approved thank you nationwide for helping me get this truck and rebuild my credit

      I have been dealing with them since the beginning, and I propose this question why charge late fees and be rude and daily calling and contacts until payment is caught up. Why not one not all three? And why if people are having financial hard times why charge them more? With late fees? Can't afford it already so let's charge them more does that make sense? No I actually think you know, people can't go with it their transportation, and really don't care if you reposes the vehicle it is not attached to a person a ,family ,single Mom/Dad in your company's eyes. No willingness to help from every month I talk to you people . So every month you call and we go over my situation again and I tell you can you help and the answer I get is no but we'll take your money gladly so every month I make my cart pmnt and a late fee... So by the time the loan matures guess what?? Y'all have made a ton on interest and late fees way to go!!! If I would have known what kind operation you had I would have refused to buy the car and will not refer and will advocate against using you as a finance company.

      We are sorry to hear that the consumer is having financial hard times. However, the terms of the contract the consumer signed explain the late fees and when they are assessed. Our policy does not allow for due date changes, and this was explained to the consumer when he inquired. We have updated the consumers account to stop telephone calls moving forward. If the consumer wishes to discuss in more detail, he may contact our Sr. ********** Manager, *****, at ************ who can assist him further.

      If I could rate less I would. I am not excusing my late payment but the customer service of this company is outrageous!! Locked my online payments before the next payment was even due. This is not the first time they have blocked receiving my payment when I was behind 1/2 of a payment. When I call and try to make the payment I can I am shamed, talked down too, threatened and hung up on. I will be refinancing with a different lender just so I don't have to deal with this completely unprofessional company.

      Our online payment portal has automated programming and certain rules that representatives cannot override. One of the rules does block the payment process and requests the consumer make telephone contact with us during regular business hours when an account reaches a certain status. The representative should have relayed to the consumer that she would be able to make a payment online after regular business hours which end at 8pm Central Standard Time.
