            We were provided a verbal quote and agreed to have work completed at our home. We considered this an emergency due to leaking water in our finished basement. When we got our bill there was just a summary writeend paragraph for work but no breakdown of charges. We have made several requests and they have failed to provide what we asked. We now fear that this is an attempt to be transparent due to price gouging. In addition to this they incorrectly vented our tankless water heater next to the fresh air intake.

            My mother, who is 85, called about a broken toilet. Blanton came out over two consecutive days to replace the chain - and later the flapper (since apparently they weren't skilled enough to diagnose the simplest of issues during one visit). The grand total $296: for parts that cost about $30 at ********** and less than 30 minutes of labor (an additional $138 remains on our credit card and has yet to be refunded - so perhaps we're paying $434?). My parents have been loyal Blanton customers for years (just last month, they spent over $8,000 on a new furnace and air conditioner). Now, they get price gouged on the most basic fix (a theme I'm seeing on other reviews). I called customer service to discuss the excessive charge. They said a "field supervisor" would call me. No one returned my call. I e-mailed customer service. No one responded. Suffice to say we'll never use Blanton again. Incredibly disappointed on all fronts.
