    Disappointing Experience - Buyer Beware I had a poor experience with St Charles Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram when purchasing a used vehicle.Deceptive Pricing:The vehicle was advertised at one price, but when I arrived, the price was $5,000 higher, with added $350 charges for "required" wheel locks. The manager, ****, tried to justify the price increase, and I ended up paying more than the advertised amount.Questionable Inspection:I was promised a 165-point inspection. When I picked up the car, it had been driven 12 miles, and the inspection sheet lacked details.High-Pressure Sales:I faced high-pressure tactics, with *** pushing $2,000 paint protection and a $7,000 warranty. I declined, but it was unpleasant.Poor After-Sales Support:The dealership promised a second key and user manual, but despite following up, I never received them. The tires were from 2019 and werent replaced due to their age when car went through service. The day after I picked up the car, a tire blew out.When I contacted the General Manager, ***, to discuss coverage, and inspection, he was rude, questioned my driving skills and informed there 20 leads for this car and offered to take the car back and hung up. **** later demanded to wire $1,200 to return the vehicle. This level of unprofessionalism was shocking.Neglected Maintenance:An independent inspection revealed the tires were old, the battery was near the end of its life, and the A/C needed rechargingissues that should have been addressed through service.Conclusion:My experience with St Charles Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram was a nightmare. They were unprofessional and used high-pressure tactics. I strongly advise against buying a vehicle from this dealership unless it's an exceptionally rare find. Be prepared for the possibility of a significant price hike and a lack of transparency regarding the vehicle's condition. Buyer bewarethis dealership is not worth the risk.

    We strive to make everyone happy with their buying experience.at St Charles Jeep. We have very strict policies in place that every vehicle is sold for the online price that is advertised on the day the purchase is made. We also make sure all of our customers are aware of optional items especially warranties for used vehicles. We do not force or push anyone to buy things they do not want. In the event a customer calls and is not happy with the car it is our policy to offer the customer to return the vehicle . In this particular case the customer lives several hundred miles away so we still offered him to return the vehicle but we could not pay for the transportation.

    I gave 1 star because i could not give 0 stars. I test drove a vehicle last Saturday couldn't come to an agreement that day on a price. The following Friday they contacted me a dozen times wanting me to make a deal, I said only for the price i offered. I said if they could make that work i would buy it. Their exact text back to me was " you have a deal", when can you come in? I said, Saturday between 2pm and 3pm. Several more text messages from the salesman ******* and the sales manager **** on Saturday even at 2:04 pm saying "no worries see you soon." Arrived at the dealer at 2:30 only to be put into a waiting room where the same sales manager came and told me that someone was test driving the car and were really interested, so they were going to sell it to them. They were very rude and didn't care. There is NO excuse for this type of customer service. No apology, no nothing!! Very disappointed and would not recommend this dealership to anyone. They also had lowered the price online to my original offer price. My wife and i walked out of there in disbelief of what had just happened and couldn't believe that they would run a business like this. I own a local business and have purchased many different types of vehicles over the years and have NEVER been treated like this. I stand by my word when i make a deal but it is obvious that they do not.

    They charged me ****** to look at my car for an issue Im having all my dash lights turn on and I loose power steering while driving. All they said was we cant get it to replicate and told me to pick up my car and said I had to pay. I believed they are lying as my car does it every day. I falso filed with NHTSA I believe they are incompetent thieves I wish I can get my money back. Its not a lot but I imagine they do this all the time

    I custom ordered a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 in May 2021. It was delivered in September 2021. The dealership was broken into the same day and thieves attempted to steal it, but only cracked a window. The dealership replaced the window, but they should have taken better care of their property. Now on to the fun part. After picking up the vehicle, I drove it for 2 weeks and it was then stolen from my residence. The problem is, the dealership allowed me to put a nearly $30k down-payment on a lease agreement. There were no red flags raised by the salesperson, General Manager nor Finance Manager, no consulting, no care. After insurance deemed it a total loss, the check went to *************** I lost everything. Ally made nearly $20k over the out-the-door cost. No help from the dealer to resolve, no replacement vehicle, no refund to restart my life.Stay away from this dealer. And stay away from doing business with ************** at all costs.
