When I signed up for classes I explained that I would not be able to attend unless financial aid would cover the classes. The advisors said they understood and helped me sign up for classes. The advisors are very pushy. Calling 3-4 times a day asking that they needed to walk me through logging in to class. I did not receive financial aid for 4-5 weeks into the class and the whole time advisors calling and asking me to log in. I kept telling them I am not doing these classes until I get financial aid. They would transfer me to financial aid department where they would tell me they didnt know why it wasnt going through. I asked to be dropped from the class because I didnt want to pay for it and they would assure me that the aid would go through. I did not start or complete any assignments. I sent many emails and called many times trying to resolve the issue. As soon as the financial aid came through it wasnt anywhere close to covering the cost of school. I again asked to be dropped after not starting or completing any assignments in class. I went through weeks of phone calls of the college trying to get me to pay for classes. Each time I asked for a supervisor and they would say they would call me back. I never received a phone call from a supervisor. The college says that because I logged into the class that counts as taking it. Even though the advisors called 3-4 a day pushing for the student to log in so they know we know how. This college is a scam!! They are stealing money from people.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: I appreciate the response back from AIU. I was actually surprised they responded. If their other staff spent as much time doing their jobs as *************************** did on her response we probably wouldnt be having this issue right now. I would love to provide the emails I have but they are in my student email which I have been locked out of by the school. Based on AIUs response there is nothing they can do for me. However others should know how they do business. This is not an honest institution and they shouldnt be able to scam people. They should be helping people better their situation and not setting them back.

In 2021 I became Ill it caused me to fall behind in some of my classes! Reached out to my teachers and several of them allowed me more time to complete my lessons, but one teacher refused and failed me!! *************************** was the instructor of that class. Before that *********************** the director put me on full time with permission causing me to pay more tuition that I was supposed to! This was a situation that my mom complained about but they still didnt refund me back, Now ****** in financial aid is telling me that my budget is showing me paying for 3 classes but Im only in 2 classes. They keep putting me in extra classes so that it can take away from my financial aid which is not fair! It also hinders you from transferring to another school because you cant get your transcripts.
