  I found that, without my knowledge or consent, my services as a mental health provider were listed on Vitadox.com (********************************************************************************************************). I am a virtual mental health provider, and do not offer in person services. The address they listed is my home address. When I contacted the organization to address this, no one ever responded by phone, despite my leaving several messages. I received email correspondence, only from a "no reply" address, communicating that I had no option in being included in their services. I have updated my profile on their account to remove my home address, and they have not updated the website to reflect the changes I made. This website is an endangerment to myself and my family, and it appears that "Vitadox" effectively doxxes health professionals. It is extremely dangerous, and needs to be removed from the internet.

  Even when I claimed the profile--something I am loathe to do, given that I would prefer to have no engagement at all with this business--the information continues to be incorrect. I claimed my profile and updated the information to exclude my address. i AM A VIRTUAL PROVIDER. I have no physical address at which clients can reach me. Vitadox incorrectly lists me as an in-person provider, with my home address as the location. The ***** system through which they garnered my information requires that providers list an address, however THIS DOES NOT MAKE IT A PRACTICE ADDRESS. Furthermore, the phone number listed for me on Vitadox is simply incorrect. I updated this information as well when I claimed my profile, and neither of these updates are reflected on the website.

  Vitadox's practices are predatory. The claim it is "never [their] intent to knowingly publish private information." And yet when I inform them that they have, indeed, published my private information, all they do is defend their right to do so. This is in specific contradiction to their alleged intention, highlighting the disingenuous nature of that stated intention. 

  My ideal would be to have no interaction with Vitadox at all. All I want is to be removed. If that is not legally possible, it is AT LEAST their responsibility to publish accurate and safe information. Remove my address, and update the phone number so that patients who might find me on their listings can safely and accurately reach me.

  I am writing because I have tried to contact Vitadox by telephone and have not received a response. There is no email address to write to. MY HOME ADDRESS IS LISTED ON THEIR WEBSITE. It needs to be removed immediately. Although the information may have been derived from public records, such as my occupational license or through NPI, I have consistently checked the box to keep that information private on their sites. Providing information to the county and NPI are essential for my ability to practice as a psychotherapist. However, this puts me in GRAVE DANGER as I have already been threatened through phone contact in which the person threatening knew this private information. I work with people who are mentally ill and carefully screen them before providing information. I have not and will not contract with you in any way. Additionally, there is another therapist who no longer practices at this address, but who originally registered with NPI at this address. The address needs to be removed from their profile as well.   My personal cell phone and HOME address are posted on the vitadox website. I am not a healthcare provider nor have I ever been. I dont work in healthcare. I have never worked in healthcare. People are constantly calling me looking for a healthcare professional. I do not understand how they think I am a provider, dr or otherwise. I have emailed them and get this ridiculous automated response..the same one I see they post in response to everyones complaints on this website. When I call to try and talk to someone..I get some stupid voicemail. I have left 35 messages and no one has responded. Everytime I select a different option..I get sent to the same idiots voicemail. This is a huge violation of my personal information. I dont have a provider number AS I AM NOT NOW NOR HAVE I EVER BEEN A PROVIDER, DR, OR ANYONE THAT HAS WORKED IN HEALTHCARE. When I get phone calls from people looking for providers I just inform them that Vitadox is a scam. My next step is going to be to show up to ********** and raise h*** at their physical address.   Vitadox Business Practices complaint similar to numerous other complaints posted. The auto generated Vitadox response, similar to DocSpot another site doing the same, is also poor business practice and nothing gets resolved. 2/25/2023 return response to Vitadox as a licensed clinical therapist to serve only ********** residents, is entered below this information. The information Vitadox is marketing is 1.5 years outdated and people who find this listing about me is inaccurate & my attorney feels fraudulent to the public. Also, NPI doesnt allow for licensed individuals to provide a PO Box, so Vitadox and DocSpot listing a providers primary home as the practice location is highly concerning on personal & professional business levels. And many cities dont allow for business licenses to be at a persons primary home if outside city limits, causing added traffic to the neighborhood or public safety issues.*** Thanks Vitadox for the auto generated response, already read about this company & the Sign up for free statement before contacting. After consulting with the BBB and my associate attorney, Im not required to sign up for free with vitadox for information this company pulled which is no longer valid, for a marketing listing Vitadox created. I read the terms auto-generated as a return email to me, before I reached out. As I requested, if this company pulls data from the national NPI NPPES site for people who are licensed with a state board for medical related practices, the recorded profile should be amended or removed.   On February 15, 2023, I did a ****** search on my name and found that VitaDox created a profile about me and my professional services without my consent and knowledge. VitaDox posted my home address which is extremely dangerous. I called the number listed under contact us three times today and was directed to voicemail. I want the unsolicited profile and personal information removed immediately.

  I am rejecting this response because: Vitadox has not removed my private home address from their site. The company's response to me is that I do not have any rights pertaining to the information posted about me and that the information that they have is what is listed with the **** This is not true. The *** does not have my home address and has not had it for a couple of years. The *** has my business address which is an office address located in ******, **. My home address is in *******, **. I want my home address removed because it poses a physical threat to my family and I. Thus, I do not need to detail the danger that could arise when patients/clients and / or strangers have access to my personal residence who may or may not be mentally stable.

  Inaction on Vitadox's part will force me to notify local law enforcement, the ***** Attorney General, in addition to pursuing litigation as I do have the right not to have my home address posted on any site. That information is respectfully private and I have the right to be protected and safe at my place of residence.

  Furthermore, Vitadox claims to help individuals connect with service providers as if they are doing me, the clinician a favor. They, in fact, are not but instead are a nuisance and anything but helpful. I have never heard of this company before yesterday and have not ever recieved any business referrals from them. So who are they really helping and for what purpose are they continuing to make my home address public? How is Vitadox's insistence on making my home address public benefitting me? How is publicizing my home address benefitting Vitadox or any of the people that they claim to serve by putting my family and I at physical risk of harm. Again, my home address is not my business address.

  There are a number of bogus websites collecting therapist and doctor ************ and contact information from the ** gov ******** site. Vitadox is one of them. They have listed outdated, incomplete and inaccurate information about my and my therapy practice which is searchable with the term "*************************** therapist." This practice is misleading. It damages and dilutes the information a pay to have designed that highlights accurate and complete information about my practice. Further the Vitadox site implies that you can reach me there but does not have an accurate or even inaccurate link to anything. I object to this practice and want my information/page removed from this site. Further, this website does not containg any offer to contact them. There is no "contact us" page where I can log my complaint
