COMPLETE SCAM. Stay away from this company!Sent a watch in for repair in July 2024 with a repair and delivery time of September 2024. Its now almost April of 25, and no watch. Extremely poor communication. Promises made to have my watch returned to me in March of 25, either repaired or returned with a full refund. Neither have happened. Emails not returned. Again, stay away from this company!!

Wish I could give negative stars!!! Believe the bad reviews!!! I wish I could give negative stars. I sent my watch in for repair. The estimate was higher than I planned so I declined the fix and paid to have it shipped back to me. I recieved my watch which was well packaged in bubble wrap in a sealed *** box. Opened the box and the watch strap had been clearly cut. Emailed to see why and was sent a photo of my watch right before shipment. Seems suspicious that in between the time their photo was taken (shipping label was printed the following day and *** picked up a day after that) and the time I got my package this would have mysteriously have happened. Blame myself for not reading the reviews prior. Live and learn!!! Shady business practices!!!

What an unbelievably bad service. Honestly I'm in awe of their incompetence. I sent a recently purchased Tudor Black Bay to them as I had scratched the bezel and they communicated they would have access to genuine Tudor parts. A week later I get an email saying technician has communicated with ***** and await their response. Next week I follow-up and get the same response. After 4 weeks of this I said, "if the technician can't get a price quote from Tudor by end of month, please return my watch". They responded they would do so. A week later I receive a repair request for $1250 to overhaul my watch. Unbelievable.....I wanted a bezel and clasp - I did not ask them for an overhaul price. They totally ignored what my request was for and charged me $88 to have my watch returned. I give everybody a chance as I understand how people can get busy but "incompetence" I don't think so. Stay as far away as you can.

Unfortunately I am having the same issue as many here. I was promised my watch would ship the last week in December which didnt happen and now they have gone radio silent. They dont even return my emails. Is there anything less than 1 star? If so, they deserve it.

I sent a 15 year-old $200 Invicta watch to just be repaired for the band which is made out of rubber And put a new battery in it. They tried to charge me $720 then I declined the service and they charged me $33.40 to return it back to me which took almost a month. It did not get to my house. It got sent back to the company now they are going to try and send it back to me again and charge me another $33.40 theres something going on with this place the woman ***** answering the phone Is very passive aggressive and probably does this to all her customers. Dont even think about using these people.

Sent four watches in April, 2024 for batteries and service. All work needed was confirmed by them with an estimated completion date of July 4, 2024. Followed up week of July 15th on status. All watches were returned in July. One watch, Armitron needed a crystal. It was a Looney Tunes watch with a raised, dome-like crystal which made it unique from the others. The crystal was cracked and needed replaced. This was also outlined in their repair invoice for $229.00. When it was received, the crystal was replaced with a flat, normal crystal found on watches. They sent a pictured showing the cracked dome crystal and the replaced flat crystal. I pointed out to them how much more the original domed (bubble-like) crystal set higher and deeper on the watch and was more opaque than the flat when looking for the time. A flat crystal will sit closer to the time mechanism making it easier to read. The cracked crystal was returned to them with the watch, just for them to see its distinguishing characteristics and to order the proper crystal. They insisted on a picture from me. I told them I did not have a picture, but returned to broken crystal in the package. Followed up for status and the watch was returned in September with flat crystal. Request the original cracked domed crystal to be returned with no response. It's my belief that they could not replace the domed crystal and instead of telling me, they lied. Then lost it, or tossed it when I returned it for proper repairs. I will never do business or recommend them to anyone for repairs! All the watches had insurance. Got such high reviews from ***** ***** in ***************** I didn't look at their poor rating. I should get a discount on the cost of repairs or full cost since it's insured.

I still kick myself for not checking the reviews of this company, because I was so happy that I finally found someone who (said they) could repair my German watch. So I shipped my (expensive) watch there in April, and first they took about a month to decide what it would cost, telling me they were waiting for information about parts. OK fair enough. Then I had to pay $1,500 in advance for the repair, which I did immediately (it was a bit much, but I was sort of desperate), and they said it would be 5-8 weeks. So after 9 weeks, I let them know that I'd be on vacation for a while, so could they wait with shipping the watch back to me until after I return. ****** from customer service wrote that they had planned to ship the watch back beginning of July, but they'd be happy to delay a week. Nothing happened, so I contacted them again. Yes, there was slight delay, it will be shipped next week. We then went into some kind a loop, which went like this, for two months:a) They said they'd ship it next week b) I waited two weeks c) I contacted them again d) go to a)So at some point I called them, and a very dismissive and unfriendly *** said that they had "a bit of a back log in the shipping department" so it would be shipped back next week. So I asked if the watch had indeed already been repaired, and he confirmed, snootily, that of course the watch had already been repaired. This entire phone conversation was exactly repeated two weeks later, only in a more grumpy tone. Then I got a bit fed up and emailed ****** again, asking if they could now please ship back my repaired watch. Answer: we couldn't repair it, we'll ship it back. You'll get a refund but not for the shipping costs. So they'd been lying to me all the time. And on their web site they boast that they follow the watchmaker's code, the first item being:1. I will not knowingly mislead, deceive or defraud the public. "Horrible company. Do not send your watch there.

Sent my men's Tissot watch with a specific request to the repair folks at Watch Repairs USA. I asked th egg m to Repair the bezel or reinstall it or a new bezel. I asked them to put on the watch back. I accidentally damaged the gold plated ring/bezel by over tightening the case back after I changed out the depleted battery. The watch was working perfectly but came back not working and only after paying $29 for shipping. The company sent me a quote for $329 plus shipping to recalibrate and clean/lubricate my watch. Not ethical. They refused to comply with my requests and did something that damaged the watch mechanism.

Searched online for places that would service a Capri Watch and found Watch Repairs USA. Online reviews look okay on their website and battery replacement was advertised at $19. Free shipping is advertised and I was sent a *** free shipping label to send the watch in.I received an email after my watch arrived with an estimate of $81.68 (Battery replacement: $29.99;Replace gaskets and test water resistance: $29.99; Shipping $21.70).There is also a troublesome note that said: Partial repair only. Repairs not covered under warranty. If battery does not solve issue(s) additional work may be required. Additional notes: When we perform battery replacement without an overhaul or new movement, there is always a chance watch still wont work properly. If this happens, we will notify you of an additional estimate for work on your watch movement. After reading these notes, sounded to me like: based on their one-sided assessment, I might be given further estimates in addition to the original estimate to get the watch to work properly. After declining the estimate, Watch Repairs USA has since given me discount of $20. I declined the estimate and asked for watch to be returned to me via free shipping but they said it is my responsibility to pay for return shipping (even if no repair is done). So I started reading reviews/complaints under BBB and found that one customer had 3 overhauls done by them in 6 years for hundreds of dollars. There are also many other complaints of different nature. And for Watch Repairs USA to keep giving discounts when estimates were declined also indicate overcharging of initial estimate.Their business behavior is very deceptive: First, they use free shipping and free estimate to "draw in" customers; then they offer over-priced estimates with return shipping fees; battery replacement is only partial repair not under warranty until they deemed the watch is working properly which means more estimate after initial one.STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY!
