      I contacted Topline HVAC for a boiler tune-up, but was told they needed to do a diagnostic test. ***** 4, 2024 a representative from Topline HVAC visited my home for a diagnostic test on a boiler. I was not present, but had a family member present. After speaking with ******* a "boss" of the company, I was told that I needed a new thermostat. When I told her that a new thermostat had recently been installed. She was surprisedthen claimed that the thermostat I had was defective and they could install a "new" Honeywell thermostat for$400.The new thermostatrecently installed is a Honeywell. Topline charged $99 for the diagnostic and as of the date of this complaint December 16, 2024, I have not gotten a receipt nor any type of supporting documentation concerning the diagnostic,even though ****** said I would receive an email the next day. In fact, she hungup the phone in my face. I called back and spoke with ******* who claimed he listened to thewhole phone call and didn't find the hang up was disrespectful. The company **** me $1 because they were paid with a $100dollarbill. Topline is the typical ************ looking to make a quick ***** overstating services, and ultimately OVERcharging customers. Customers beware.

      The contract was for material labor and ******* of ****** Air conditioning heat pump and 2 Minisplit inverters. The installation began on April 3,2021 but could not be completed due to the incorrect units being delivered. The installation left perforations in the roof which leaked into the apartment below. Other installation deficiencies were reported such and were corrected over a period of 6 months with the exception of the insufficient preparation and waterproofing of the areas around the **** lines in the roof. No additional work has been performed since October 2021. Complaints have been made in writing and by phone. The firm is demanding payment for a job which is faulty and incomplete. The leaking and damage to the roof and material below is visually apparent. Warping of roofing support material is evident.The roof oozes liquid from the **** tubing.Complete repair of any and all damaged are of the roof and professional design of the drip pans and other water barriers normally associated with roof perforation. In addition I have incurred ******* fee related to workmen who have photographed the ongoing roof decay. In addition there is damage to interior walls which need repair.Estimated cost of the entire damage and restoration is approximately $20,000.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      TOPLINE HVAC *** cannot claim that the installation is complete when the workmanship has caused water to come through the roof to the residence below where there work was performed.  TOPLINE refuses to acknowledge previous payments made to them. TOPLINE representatives stated that their work was leakproof. It is not. During the course of tge installation process TOPLINE attempted to substitute other equipment for equipment ordered. It took 6 months before their newly hired technicians came out and discovered the wiring done by previous technicians omitted a grounded wired circuit which was causing operational issues. The list goes on and on. Without professional roofing solution to the faulty workmanship no further payments will be paid or earned by TOPLINE.
