    Cagan Management is the property management team for our building for the last 7 months. from the very beginning Cagan Management have lost tenant money from their ledgers/security deposits have gone missing/and rental checks are lost. Now they are assessing fees for unwarranted reasons and threatening to submit tenant accounts over to collections if money is not handed over. By very definition, it is extortion, and criminal. Even after my demand letter to cease on July 14, I have received 3 more requests for money. They are repeatedly harassing me and I feel intimation and have received counsel this may be active discrimination in efforts for me to move out. I have receipts to back up my case that I currently owe $0, in fact, my account balance should actually reflect a $20 credit to my account. I am notifying the BBB to 1.) make a public record and declaration of their predatory accounting methods, 2.) ask for help for the threats to attack my credit stop, 3.) a letter of apology indicating where accounting mistakes were made to my account 4.) suggest an independent audit of their accounts and a review of their business practices is in the best interests of our community.

    Submitted application for *****/**************************** May 23 2022. ********************************************* at *************************************** Co-Signed with my mother. This person kept contact until after they received my application and application fee. I havent heard from them since. Ive been emailing and calling them for almost a year. I got no response about my application. I believe they are listing this property fraudulently and collecting the application fee. Theyve had over ***** contacts for this apartment and theyre still listening it over a year later. They couldnt find a renter in those *****+ contacts? I want my full application fee ($75) refunded to me. They never had any intention of renting out this apartment.

    The building keys provided break frequently. You are not allowed to obtain replacements independently. I spoke with a locksmith who informed me of the poor quality of the key and the affordable cost. Cagan charges more than triple the cost of the key. I have never broken a key in my life and this building key has broken 4 times in 2 years. It is extortion and unethical to manufacture a problem that cant be ignored and then price gauge the solution.

    Cagan management harasses their tenants. Specifically *************************, the amount of phone calls and emails about resigning a lease 6 months prior to renewal. Once told I was not going to resign he showed up at my residence to show my apartment. There was also a tenant who was threatening to kill other tenants and had a stand off with *********** police for 7 hours evacuated all of the tenants just for the man to be back not even 24 hours later. This was terrifying having a potential shooting and lives threated and nothing be done about it. This business needs to be looked into, it is unsafe and quite disgusting with the way they do business. Never have I felt threatened or uneasy about living in an apartment.

    Two years in **************** at Cagan Crossings in ********, ******* having issues with noises, people with cars without tag leaving garbage in the parking lot and *********************************, Property Manager doesn't care. That man wants to resolve his job saying "Call the Police". Inept! Nobody cares. I sent videos, photos as prove and nothing. **************** prefers responsable resident, like me, to leave the property before resident that Do Not comply with lease agreement stay. Can you believe that? For what reason they forced me to signed a rules and regulations in the lease agreement?That Company has preferences with "boys", "men". When a lady, woman complain they don't cares.
