I purchased a 2018 Audi A7 from this dealership with a total cash payment of $38, ******, which included a previously paid $1000 deposit. I signed the purchase contract on 5/2/2024. The car was delivered to where I live in ******** OK, with a temporary tag. I was originally told that there was a backup with DMV that was delaying the release of the title for this vehicle. I was informed on 7/26/2024 that they were still working on locating the title. Today on 7/29/2024 I was informed that I was being sent another temporary tag. I am no lawyer, but it seems to be a problem for a dealership to sell a vehicle when they don't have in their possession or be able to get in a timely manner the title for the vehicle. The initial temporary tag expires on 8/1/2024. I do not know how long the new tag will be good for. I have not yet received it. I certainly don't want to be driving around illegally and do I even have proof of ownership of this vehicle without the title and not being able to get it registered ? I would very much appreciate any assistance and/or information that can be provided to me.Business Response

****************, We are currently working diligently with the person who sold us this vehicle out of ********** to get the title. We are at the mercy of California DMV. A new 90 day temp tag was sent through *** and you should receive it tomorrow July 31st 2024. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and we want you to know it will be resolved. You have all the copies of the paperwork as proof you fully paid for the vehicle and you are the owner. The temp tag is is also proof of temp registration. Thank you for your patience and we hope to get this resolved sooner than laterCustomer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: resolution will occur once I receive the title to this vehicle. They have not been able to obtain the title within the time frame of the initial 90 day temporary license and so I can't help but wonder and worry about if they will be able to do so within the time frame of the second issued 90 day temporary title.
Sincerely,

We were searching for a car for our son (17 year old), and although the car has disclosed that it was modified, by not having the catalytic converters, we did not realize that would put more power to this car, and it would not fit two purposes here: 1. My son was supposed to drive the car, so it would be more powerful for him to drive.2. The car was not fit to pass the emission test in the State of ********** raised this question to them, after I put a ****** down payment and told them not to cash check until we would have the car passed the readiness test. They have still cashed the check the next day, and took the car to specialized dealer, to make the test for emission. As I know it is illegal to sell a car that won't pass the emission test. Moreover, the **** service rep ******* confirmed that ICARS sale rep did not disclosed the car was modified without catalytic converters, and he would not have known what changes were done for the car after the test making hard for us to buy and accept such car in these conditions.Afterwards, the car was not passing the emission test readiness measure, and I asked to get out of the deal. They returned our money less ***** dollars, in which they stated that dealer fees and other costs were around $700, besides the documentation fees. We believed that it was not fair to retain more than *********************************************************************************************************************************** the first step, but they were very rigid and not cooperative at all, and honestly, we were reticent to deal with them, as they were pushing and aggressive.Business Response

With all due respect this is a situation of buyer's remorse. We clearly stated in our listing the vehicle was tunned and did not have catalytic converters. We do this because we sell vehicles all over the country. As you stated in your complaint it was disclosed. You visited our place of business 3 times and had every opportunity to do a pre purchase inspection which we highly encourage. You came in on December 28th, 2023, to purchase the vehicle. You clearly signed all the documents including the bill of sale you attached. You provided us with a payment of $20,000.00 and you stated you would come back the next day with the remainder balance. At no point did you say, "do not cash this check". If that was your intention, why did you complete the paperwork. What really happened is you came the next day and said your 17-year-old son got a ticket for speeding, and you wanted to cancel the deal. This is buyer's remorse not an issue with our company. However, we tried to do that right thing and we took the vehicle to Audi to prove to you we have nothing to hide. They determined that the vehicle needed to be un tunned to pass emissions. We offered to pay to have that completed by a reputable shop and you declined. So it was never about emissions, it was about you wanting to not buy the car because of your 17-year-old son. We tried to accommodate you and took the car back minus fees because we had already processed the deal. We both agreed to the amount, which shows on the check you cashed. It clearly states on the check " Full and Final payment for unwind of deal nothing else owed". By cashing this check, we consider all matters closed pertaining to this complaint.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:
1) when we had the knowledge of what the tuned modified without catalytic converters, and that it would be an issue with emission tests, we called ***** and let him know that we had this concern. Also I told him to stay put until this clear after the test. that means the check should have been cashed until the concern was alleviated. That was not the case with ICARS.
***** then this test would have taken less than hour to show the car is ready. Then he never called us back and we followed the next day.
We could put a stop payment for our ***** check if we wanted out of the deal. But we trusted the fairness of the business, which now it is disputable. Then, the next day we all came in the office, and expressed again the same concern that the car was not fit to pass the emission test.
we also apologized that we were not informed about this potential liability once we would have bought the car.***** and the president were supposed to offer a solution and cover all it would be needed to alleviate our concerns.in other words, we would expected that the dealer should cover all costs for the car to be fit in order to offset our liability towards the State of ******** emission program. That was not assured after our meeting, and we were left in limbo to the mercy of **** inspection.
The inspection was completed somewhere in January, and with our check already cashed, we felt a little bit under stress and discomfort with this situation.
The fact that I was requested to get out of the deal because of my son driving experience was an alternative to exiting this liability attached for this car purchase event.
we were told that it could cost us **** to **** to get get out of the deal, and we were fortunate that the president accepted only with $1040.00 charge. This is not fair in our opinion and any commercial law does not support the dealers right to impose a purchase under intimidation and other tactics. At last we were advised by the **** service representative ( *****) that when the car was brought in by ICARS, it was not disclosed that the car was tuned, and he was surprised to found out that the car had 3 times failure for readiness, and other imperfect conditions. He also stated that **** would not be able to tell anyone about how the tuning was done, and this operation could possibly impact the life of its engine and transmission.
Bottom line, the dealer took advantage of our situation and forced us out of deal eventually, by not disclosing to our knowledge that the car being tuned could have a emission test pass liability.
Our decision not to buy this car was based on **** inspection and conclusion, and the costs associated with bring this car to the factory default, on which the dealer did not offer to help in any case, because it could be another significant amount. This was not a buyers remorse situation.
Sincerely,

With all due respect no one took advantage of anyone here so what you are saying is completely false. We have been in business for almost 11 years and have always tried to do the right thing to make every customer happy. Again you visited us 3 times before doing any sort of paperwork. If you had any concerns you could have addressed them before completing paperwork and giving us payment. You clearly state in the complaint "We were searching for a car for our son (17 year old), and although the car has disclosed that it was modified, by not having the catalytic converters, we did not realize that would put more power to this car, and it would not fit two purposes here" THAT WE DID DISCLOSE THE VEHICLE was modified and had NO CATALYTICS CONVERTERS. We disclose this information so future customers can make decisions and know what they are getting. We sell all over the *** so different states have different laws about catalytic converters. Knowing the disclosed information you still proceeded to pursue the vehicle, We did not force you to physically go get a check and sign paperwork. It was your decision and we simply sold you a vehicle with full disclosure. Like previously stated, we took the car to audi becuase we had nothing to hide and the report you attached says the vehicle must be de tuned in order to determine if the vehicle can pass emissions. We offered to do this for you and you said you wanted out of the deal no matter what. An agreement was reached to unwind the deal and you cashed the refund check knowingly it was full and final payment and nothing else was due. You also tried contacting us after the fact and asking for $500 back before you threatened to go to the BBB and file a complaint. We consider this matter closed.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:Dear BBB,
According to Audi dealer test document, the charge was only $200, but they charged us 245. With all support and documentations, we reserve the right to get this matter resolved with other authorities, unless they reimburse us the cost of Audi dealer charge 245 and the so called taxes 200, totaling 445.00.
Sincerely,

I have not revieved the title. Dealer claims they sent it via certified mail. DMV in ******* disputes this saying the titles can only be transferred electronically from dealers. I purchased another car from an ******** dealer at the same time as this and was able to get registration and title immediately. USAA reached out 4 times including a hand written request that was certified requesting the title. All 4 request were ignored. The last message I have from the dealership on April 27, 2022, "Im not touching anything with your attitude, when you decide you want to speak to us normal then we will be willing to help you out. Until then you can have a nice day." They took my money, sent me a lemon, and then did not provide a title for over a year(Still do not have a title). I want a full refund including shipping.Business Response

We are an ******** dealer. In ******** there are no Electronic Titles so ******* DMV dispute is inaccurate. ******* may have electronic titles between *******-to-******* dealers but not ******** to *******. I have attached the ******* Title we had on the vehicle you purchased from **. We sent it *** with signature required. It shows it was signed by ******** ** 3-26-2022 @ 10:42am. If you lost the title, we could help assist you with getting a new title, but you will be responsible for the fees. If would like us to assist you in applying for a duplicate title, please reach out to us as ************ and ask for ***********Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:The title should not have been sent to me. I do not believe that it was. I purchased another vehicle at the same time from ******** and like you were supposed to they titled and sent tags. USAA sent iCars 4 letters one of which was hand written because iCars ended communication with me over a previous dispute. They sold me a car with chipped paint, body damage, and a broken sunroof. I only asked for the sunroof to be fixed. iCars requested that it be sent to a small shop instead of the *** dealership so that iCars could save money. Then when it arrived to the shop and was quoted for additional issues, instead of agreeing to pay for the sunroof, iCars reneged on the entire deal over their miscommunication from the shop they chose. The vehicle has been in my garage taking up valuable space ever since. I will not accept anything less than a full refund.
Sincerely,

The title was shipped to you so you can complete the registration process of your vehicle and to get your ******* License plates. You would not be able register the car and get plates without the title. We sell many vehicles out of state and have a specific process how we handle the title. We have proof of copy of title which we sent and proof you signed the acceptance of the package. We provided proof of the package with the title was delivered to you and signed by you. If you lost the title you are responsible for the fees involved in getting a replacement title. The item you attached was a vehicle title inquiry from 2015 that has nothing to do with your purchase. Like we offered you before, we can assist in getting you a new title but you would be responsible for the fees. You can reach ***** ************ in regards to obtaining a duplicate titleCustomer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:Even if what you are saying is true that does not negate the fact that the title was requested 4 times. It also does not negate the fact that you had the obligation to register and send plates. It does not change the fact that you knowingly sold a defective vehicle, agreed to fix damages and then reneged over a $60 misunderstanding between you and the shop YOU chose to do the work. I will only accept a refund. Look at the posting. You can see the damage to the sun roof that they claim was working. It is broken open on the listing. They knew it was broken. They offered to fix it or return the car the day I received it. I told them if they fixed it, it was no big deal. This was me ignoring cosmetic paint and other issues with the car. It is too late to work this out. Give me my money back. When I complained that they were reneging and changing the deal the response I received from someone claiming to be the owner was "Im not touching anything with your attitude, when you decide you want to speak to us normal then we will be willing to help you out. Until then you can have a nice day."
I told USAA this as they were looking for the title and told me to **** They sent you 4 letters. You took their money and should have sent them their title. So give me my money back.
You can clearly see the damage here. The sunroof is broken open.

We purchased a vehicle after being told it was accident-free and in driveable condition. We received the car on July 16th. We noticed a sound coming from the engine, to which the salesman Jasin said "There's no way." We took the car to our mechanic, he said it was the supercharger. We mentioned that to Jasin and he said they would contribute $1,000 to the repair. We have not received this. There were up to about $4,000 worth of mechanical repairs. We mentioned that we would be okay once we at least received the thousand dollars. Then, the mechanic noticed the driver-side headlight is not working. He changed the bulb and said it looks like the car had been in an accident (which we were told was not possible at the time of purchase). Then the dealer mentioned the car had a very minor accident. The whole assembly for that headlight is going to cost $3500. We cannot have the car registered at the *** without functioning headlight. Jasin is now saying that is our problem. He's a liar. We contacted an attorney and he has submitted documents to the State's attorney general. They are fraudsters lying to sell cars.Initial Complaint

I bought a 2010 Audi A6 quattro listed as a prestige on 4/1/2022 from icar chicago. The vehicle allegedly has the original miles of ****** miles but thats not correct. I was diagnosed with pneumothorax a few days later after the purchase and was on bed rest after a procedure so I really didnt get to drive the vehicle. Once I was cleared to work and start back moving around which was about mid may, the car has been giving me h*** As of right now the car has ****** miles on the odometer, the ac doesnt work at all, the power steering has completely just stalled and isnt working, the brakes squeal as if they are on fire, Ive had to replace the battery, the shocks/struts are completely gone, the engine stalls and sounds as if its ready to give out. There is now way this is the car original mileage. The car isnt safe to drive at all as if they put the cheapest parts on the car so that they can get a sale. I ********** with a cashiers check for ********* for a car that I cant even drive at all. Please stay away from This dealership. I dont even know what to do at this point as this was supposed to be a good experience for me. I cant get to work. I would have to spend at least $8,000.00 in repairs for a car that was bought at nearly 20k. I have a bad lung never smoked Im looking into hiring an attorney I havent even drove 2k miles in the car. This is pitiful and nothing good is going to come behind the scams they are pulling on people spending their hard earned money.Customer Answer
