    Date of transaction was January 10th 2025. I was instructed by my realtor to pay **** Jackley on that day. I wrote a check out for $175 to which was to be paid to him directly. I did so on my end. Since moving into our new home we have had new bills and old bills that we had to take care of, upon doing so we checked our account on Feb 19th (yesterday) to see that **** Jackley finally cashed the $175 check, 1 month and 9 days later.. leaving our account negative. I had called **** Jackley on the phone and got his voicemail. I left him a voicemail and he promptly called me back without listening to said voicemail. Upon him calling me back he asked why I was calling. I had said good morning, I was calling to ask about a check that I had wrote out to you on Jan.10th 2025 and I was just wondering as to why it was just now being cashed, he claimed he had been in ******* for the week and he had no idea who cashed it, I then told him that it was definitely cashed and that the money infact came out. He said "I did the work and you owed me so what's the issue." I explained to him that by him waiting over a month to cash it caused us to go negative. He responded with "maybe you should have money in your acct to pay your bills" I attempted to explain to him that I had the funds up until this past Friday as we just paid every bill we have had to deal with, and that this could have been avoided had he cashed the check alot sooner. He then proceeded to say that he's in a meeting and doesn't have time to talk to poor people and what exactly it was I wanted from him. The moment I started to speak he hung up the phone. I called him back and instead of Hello, he says "I'm not going to sit here and talk to you broke b*tch" and I told him that I will be contacting my lawyer, he then said oh that's great and I hung up the phone. Now I'm stuck with -$189.74 in my account because he did not take the payment on time and I have overdraft fees!!!!

    The Business has addressed my concerns outside of addressing the BBB in reference to complaint ID ********. My issue is resolved and my complaint can be closed.
