I made an appointment for my dog to get a rabies vaccine ONLY and informed the person that I will have someone else bring her in and that I live in ************. The girl said someone else bringing her in is fine and they dont have tags for my county but I can take the paper to my county and get a tag. Saturday, April 6th my daughter and ***** took my dog to the vet for a rabies vaccine and I asked them to get her nails trimmed. The VET decided to give my dog vaccines I didnt ask for and one she already had which gave her a triple dose. When I called the vet they keep saying the vaccines were authorized but they were not. The vet put a piece of paper in front of my daughter and ***** and asked them to authorize this and they did but the vet added vaccines I never asked for ..they made this decision on their own. They keep saying because I didnt have her record sent but the additional vaccines are not required so its irrelevant. The appointment I made was for rabies only and they knew I wasnt bringing her in. They made a decision to give my dog vaccines for money and nothing else! They added vaccines to a piece of paper with no authorization from me knowing I was not going to be there: they also gave me a cook county tag knowing I live in ************. The vet should have known to call me but they took it upon themselves to make decisions for my dog and give me a tag for a county they know I dont live in.
