    I've been seen at Dental Works for many years and their business/work ethics have declined. It started with me trying to schedule an appointment back in August. They told me that I had a balance of $300+ that needed to be paid. The last bill that was received was for $58 for a cleaning that I received but has since been paid by my insurance. I hadn't been seen since that service was provided in Oct 2022. I asked what the bill was for and was told that they had a new system and couldn't access the old one. I explained that unless they produce an explanation for these mysterious charges then I would refuse to pay. I got an appointment for a cleaning & x-rays and had it done in Nov. 2023. During the cleaning, the tech caused some of the bonding glue to come off of my retainer. The dentist replaced it before I left. The other day while I was flossing the glue came off of the same tooth again. I received an appointment and when I got there I was told that I needed a consultation as if I was a new patient. I asked why and explained that not only was I an established patient but that the braces that I had & retainer was placed there at that facility. I didn't get a response. They couldn't explain why I would be treated as a new patient so I left and wasn't seen. The only reason that I can think of is that they would receive more money if I were treated as a new patient. Their actions are unacceptable and I see the reason for the low BBB rating. This company wasn't like this, that I'm aware of, when they were ****** I'm currently looking for a new dental facility with better client/patient ethics. If they ever produce that $300+ bill then I'll also be reporting them for fraud because according to my EOB from my insurance company, I don't owe them anything because payment was remitted by them.
