I took my truck to this company to have repairs done. I picked it up and it wasn't running right. I took it back to them. They told me it was coming from the turbo, but it was really coming from the manifold from the gasket. That's why the exhaust was leaking. I paid over $3000 for the repair. They are trying to come after me for $1800.

Customer brought us a truck and  the exhaust feeder pipe to the turbo was broke on it.  customer made aware and order pipe from a source he choose.  He brought pipe back and we installed the pipe.
Then he asked us to install a intake manifold bridge housing.  He was already aware it was needed and had already brought it from an outside source. We informed him we would replace it but it was a very time consuming job. He understood and ask us to proceed. He furnished the intake manifold bridge housing. As we attempted to install the part he brought us we found it was an 1/8 inch to big. That is when we found out that the engine that was in the truck was not the original engine. After much research and talking to the American diesel company we found out there was a LBZ motor and a LLY motor option for this truck.  His original truck vin was a LLY but he had had a LBZ Used motor install by a different repair shop prior to us working on the truck.  The LBZ took a narrower housing.  After discussing what we had found with the customer he told us the order the parts that we needed. While ordering the parts we found out from the ******** ****** ******* that you would also have to reprogram the trucks main computer to the LBZ motor that was in it for it to  reperform correctly. We completed the installation of the Intake manifold bridge housing. Truck still does not run right until it is reprogrammed by Chevy to a LBZ engine. Customer was aware of this.
Customer was a young man who had been without his truck for quite some time. He uses his truck to make money. We allowed him to just pay for the parts and was allowing him to make payment for the rest. His total bill was $3,459.45 he paid $1,519.36 to take the vehicle which left a balance on account of $1,940.09 he came in the following week and made a payment of $50.00 on August 8/26/2022 leaving a new balance of $1,890.09.
After August 26, he has made no contact with us. We have called several times to set up payment arrangement as he had stopped making payment. On January 4th, 2023 we left our final message on his phone that we were turning this over to attorney for collection and amazingly enough his phone must work and he must have been getting all of our messages just not willing to pay his debt and instead of responding and taking responsibility for his debt he turned this in instead.
Wisely Automotive has been family run and operated for several years. We are always willing to help someone out. Just like in this instants where we allowed the truck to leave on a mans good word that he would make payments until he could get back on his feet. Its sad we live in a society that we live in today and that a mans word no longer means anything.  Instead they would rather try to bash the name on a business that has been in business for 35 years over paying a debit that cost our company.
