Hi. I purchased a new furnace & a/c from Extreme ******************************************* in 2006. In June 2021, the a/c compressor went out. It was still under waranty, but of course we had to pay labor fees of $300. That's fine, I get it. But then, in September of 2021 the a/c stopped working again. I texted, called and private messaged the owner, *************************, through September and October and got no response at all. ****** came, so we didn't think much of it for a while. Once March rolled around, I tried to reach him again and again... every week until July 2022, and still nothing. It started getting hot so I called another company that works with the same a/c system hoping they could repair it. The problem ended up being that Extreme had not replaced the piping when they installed the new systems. They just used the old ones which are from ****. They rusted out and all the freon was gone. I asked the new company if the repairs would be under warranty, and they said since it's installer error, they would not be and I would have to pay over $3000 to get it working again. Since Extreme made the mistakes, they should fix them! Not only did they basically rip me off by not giving me everything I paid for, they also just completely stopped returning calls, ***************** In the least, I want to warn other people about how this company does NOT take care of their customers. Thank you!

Extreme Heating and Cooling misidentified the issue with my air conditioner, proceeded to complete an unnecessary repair (replaced a TXV value) and did such a poor job soldering the part, that the work needed to be redone. All in, what should have been a $160 service call to repair faulty wiring has cost me ~$3,500. $2,000 was paid to Extreme ******************************************* to do the bogus and faulty repair work, and $1,500 was paid to a new company to fix the work they did wrong. Also, they are operating as a business that was involuntarily dissolved by the State of ******** on September 14, 2018. They did not provide proof of insurance, they did not provide a written quote, and they only accepted checks. I have been attempting to contact them since 8/15/22 and have received no response. I sent them a formal complaint letter which they did not acknowledge and I will be taking them to small claims court. Date of initial diagnostic: 6/21/22 Date of repair work: 7/5/22 Date AC unit stopped working again: 8/5/22

We agreed on a new air handler with coil in basement and AC on rooftop for $5889 2 furnances in basement w/ 2 AC's on rooftop and 2 coils to replace older equipment over 30 years old $12,978 Replace old water heat. Was going to replace a larger commercial water heater with a 75 gallon water heater. I did not realize the water heater being replaced was much larger. $2,889 Total Labor and Parts $21,000 Deposit required $15,000 Overpaid and did not get fully refunded. We ended up paying $20,000 upfront and did not need 1 of the 3 AC, which he said he would give us a credit for instead of refunding the amount. There was a mix of credit card charges and refunds plus a manual check we gave him for $9000. All transactions were made in April and May of this year. I am aware of one of the two furnaces being dropped off but not installed, and I believe the air handler was installed. Nothing else has been done since and the owner has not returned my texts and calls in weeks.
