JC Adjusting Company is TERRIBLE! Paid the money for the repairs they were never done!

Good afternoon,JC Adjusters prides ourselves on the services we provide not only as our clients public adjuster but as a company who takes care of our customers to the best of our ability. We provide sufficient and exceptional service in order to provide 100% satisfaction to our customers.JC Adjusters has not completed any interior repairs that were approved per the insurance due to attempting to get the clients roof approved for replacement and this was known to the client.************** received payment in March of 2024 from the client, this payment was primarily for the mitigation company, Restoration Control, for the work they completed in August of 2023; JC Adjusters paid Restoration Control the funds owed. The additional funds that were included in the check for the interior repairs will be returned to the client via check with ***** **************, besides returning the interior repair funds, will also be removing themselves from the claim and closing the file due to the complaint placed.Thank you.

Saw an add, they stated they would help me go through my insurance. I signed thinking all I would pay is the deductible. Right away guys came out did water damage control. I still have not seen the figures presented to my insurance and one month later my insurance adjuster came for inspection and stated JC Adjusting is overcharging me. They submitted a $20,000 bill and this does not include the roof replacement. $20,000 is the highest estimated I've gotten to replace my roof shingles to date, why are they so expensive?I need help with this situation.

We provide sufficient and exceptional service in order to provide 100% satisfaction to our customers. As the policy holder, you have to care for your property to prevent further damage from occurring. In this case, when we completed our pre inspection and showed you the damages presented; we explained our PA Contract with you and in which you signed on 4/19/23. We informed you that a mitigation company would come out and remove all moisture and dry out all wet material that would cause mold to the interior of your property to which you agreed to after we had explained that this is charged to the insurance company. The mitigation invoice is at $20,949.65 however, that covers approximately $7,600 for tarping the roof to prevent continuous damage and the remaining charges include the actual mitigation of 5 rooms and 1 hallway. On 5/26/23 via texting messaging, we offered to remove ourselves from the claim but you told us not to, that you wanted to wait to hear from the insurance company. Once again, the only out of pocket expense you have is your deductible. You have not been presented with an estimate from the insurance due to the fact that your initial inspection was just 5/25/23, and we are still trying to come to an agreement with the insurance, so there is nothing we can currently supply you at this time. They are dishonest and took advantage of a senior citizen. The contractor was actually representing the adjuster. The person who signed the contract thought he was signing paperwork to begin the repairs. Their fee exceeded the public adjusters normal fee. In addition, JC Adjusters cashed the check without my knowledge.. Their rating should be a minus zero. GDR

Good afternoon,** Adjusters is a licensed public adjusting company that recommends different contractors and works alongside property owners/associations in the process of filing their claim with the insurance company and ensuring that all necessary storm damages are addressed and accounted for by their insurance company.Our public adjuster, **************************, was present when the ** Adjusters contract was signed and initialed on 4/21/21 by ***************************, an authorized representative of Gethsemane ************************** Before our contracts are even signed, the public adjuster completes an initial walk around to ensure there is in fact storm related damage to the property, then the public adjuster discusses in detail the process that happens with the insurance, and if the property owner/association wants to proceed, our public adjuster then explains in full detail, page by page, our Public Adjusters contract. ***********************************, who wrote this complaint, is the individual who authorized *************************** to sign the public adjuster contract after it was explained in detail and is stating false accusations as she was not there with our public adjuster, ***************************, and the contractor, ********** during the meeting and signing of our public adjuster contract. ********************** statement about ** Adjusters depositing the insurance check is also false; we still have the initial insurance check at our office location pending next steps from *************************** or an authorized individual from the committee at the church. ** Adjusters would not deposit any insurance checks without the proper endorsements and banks would not accept the check if not all endorsements were present. For this case ** Adjusters started the process on 4/30/21 with the insurance company after the public adjuster contract was signed on 4/21/21. ** Adjusters and the insurance completed all inspections and estimates from that time till present day. Not until ** Adjusters had sent our PA FEE letter on 10/25/21 after numerous attempts to reach out to the committee has there now been an issue presented.In regards to the public adjuster fee being exceeded. The public adjuster fee is listed in our contract and is authorized by the State of ********, without the states authorization the contract and the fee is not legal.We have been attempting to reach out to the committee to set up a time and to discuss how the church would like to proceed. ** Adjusters is still waiting for this meeting to happen.
